    Dog on Ardmore Beach...

I love Ardmore Beach, great Shot.
We camped a couple of mile from it on what could only be called a pirates cove last summer. Fishing and cooking our catch on a fire that evening.

Hi NORTH1, can I ask you if you used Noise Ninja or something on those showjumping shots above? When using the same camera/lens as yourself at ISO 1600 any shots I take tend to be unusable...

No Daycent, I am now shooting them in raw and twigging them a little with brightness and contrast with the software that came with the camera.

    Spot metering might also help.

Theres others here that are far better at this and might give a better answer Boarderfox for one.

When it gets too dark the camera has to be put away.

I get a real sense that the horse is incharge here the the ride is only allong for the ride. No offence ment to the rider.

Experimental mode: This was a dificult shot to do in ONE exposure, so.......I took 3 different shots at different exposures and then combined them, sometimes you can get away with it, and in this case, just about !!

    Canon 70-200 f4L IS.

I'm gagging for a 24-70 f2.8L so I don't have to be too distant from my subjects! Should I just pretend that recession was already over?

The park on Merrion Square is a little treasure trove of statues.
