should the girl not get a job because she's too thin... wouldn't that be weight based discrimination :pac:. Its not like coke is good for you, so probably doesn't matter what sort of body image the company promotes

I saw the ad last night for the first time, and I KNEW people were going have a problem with it, which is pretty sad, considering it's just a thin person. Sure, people go on about how using thin models in the media promotes anorexia, but that's pretty much in fashion. So why is it that that girls thin arms suddenly makes her a "freak"?

Even slim girls criticise the use of underweight women in advertising though.

I haven't seen the ad - if the girl is naturally very slender (and some girls are) well she has a right to work in advertising surely. If she's underweight though, it's not a good thing. And it's as bad as using an extremely overweight person to sell a product (never gonna happen though).

Obesity health risks - diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, fertility problems, osteoporosis.
Underweight health risks - anaemia, fertility problems, osteoporosis.

Doesnt a high sugar calories intake make you fat?

Aiming this at slim and superslim girls will give them a false message and possibly fatten them up.

The reason it is in fashion is because it is in the media though, actually I don't think it is in fashion all my mates prefer a bit of meat on a girl.
I dunno, I know a girl at work that eats loads and can't put on weight so there is that side too. Omg i just dunno what to make of it all LOLS AND WTFS AND 'S
