    The Kings Of Leon had some really good tunes. I would go and see them live but they're a different species to some of t above mentioned bands imo

    It took 4 pages, but finally someone mentions Queen, quite possibly the most technical and proficient and complex and diverse band ever. Not to mention having the most amazing LIVE act. Best stadium performers ever and Freddie Mercury is my choice as the best singer ever from a band.
