Unfortunately the kids have a community games soccer match this evening and i have to go to it.

Sometimes i wonder why i bother with membership, haven't played a competition or an open day yet this feckin year!!

Open "3 person waltz" in Moate this weekend and it's only €10 a head. Interesting format to play once in a while.

I'm thinking of a early tee off in my home club (Palmerstown stud) in the morning if you fancy it? it would have to be around 7.45-8.15am as I am in work at 1.00pm its Open week with good prizes, tomorrows comp is single stableford

Hi guys. I'm wondering if anyone in the Monkstown/Dun Laoghaire area would be interested in playing some golf. Unfortunately I don't have a car so would need a lift But I'm available to play most weekends and I get home about 7.30 weekdays (could get out of work earlier if arranged beforehand). Want to get playing some more golf this summer but lack of a car is a major issue!! I know this might be a long shot but if anyone is interested let me know.

Depends on your definition of 'nearby'... myself and CharlieIRL are playing in an open in Castlebarna at 5.30pm. The course is in Daingean which is about 1hr 10 mins from Liffey Valley. You're welcome to join us if you're stuck.
