Nikon D40 or Canon EOS 1000D?!

Alright this is the final deciding one. And at the moment i really can't chose between the two. Should i get a Nikon D40 or a Canon EOS 1000D. I've looked up dpreview.com and checked out many youtube reviews but all they say is that they're both really good cameras and you won't go wrong with them. So it really didn't help…

Oh really? Shows what I know Which is the model lowest model in the range with built in AF, any ideas?
