Ok, the last thread about 2008 took off and is getting pretty negative, not helped by me.
So if 2008 was a bad year for you, what do you hope to get out of or achieve in 2009?

I hope for good weather, a move to Dublin combined with finding a decent job (could be a big ask), to forget about this year's woes, start spending some of that SSIA money again on holidays further afield and to get back into doing all the cool things I've stopped doing in recent months.

To be cancer free (as this year to date, as far as I know) and to have a healthy baby (and for my husband and I and our familes to be healthy). To continue being happily married. That my family are healthy and happy and that my brother settles down with the lovely girl he is now dating. I know that I am hoping for a lot, but you have to dream.

In 2009 I hope for world peace, financial stability and to finally get rid of that nest of spiders living in my PC.

Don't get me wrong, I love spiders but they tend to attract a lot of hungry, hungry magpies around this time of year and those cnuts are always stealing my smokes.

Seriously though... keep current job or have a new one to move into after current contract is up, become debt free, get tickets for the RWC 2011 and NFL london 2009, pass some exams, get a decent grasp of linux so I know what I'm doing, learn how to programme some sort of code, see transformers 2 many many times.......keep gf happy (as usual)
