This isn't a sexual topic before it gets moved but i'm just wondering do the gals here look after their feet?

I'm by no means a foot fetishist (if thats a word!) but i do take notice if a girl hasn't got nice feet and it does put me off a bit!

Yes I like to bite my toenails :D saves people having to look at half gnawed fingernails

I hate feet. I hate my feet and I hate other peoples' feet, especially boys - they creep me out! I don't take a great deal of care of mine... I've had a couple of operations on them which means they're not as pretty as they could be due to a few missing nails, so there's no pedicures for me!

Anyway... since I dislike feet, I intend to overlook them and even if they're especially icky, I wouldn't let them put me off!

Why do you want to know this exactly? Are you going to PM anyone who says they have a weekly pedicure?

Same here, I hate my feet, there's nothing wrong with them except I think they look like monkey feet, the toes aren't those cute dainty ones.
I never ever usually let anyone even touch them and its only recently the OH has coaxed me to let him rub them.
Although in general I always look after my feet, as much as I do my hands, I love my high heels so I have to take care of the feet!

I like other peoples feet, not mine.

FYI, big brown elephant skin on my toes.

Oh I'm sorry, lunchtime? How rude.

feet are ugly things in general. mine are worse than most htough, in that the ligaments in my toes are too tight, so they're all quite curled, and the ligaments in my ankles are too lose, so relaxed, lying down, they tend to bend in apparently 'unnatural' angles.

so i tend to keep em hidden. and also, due to a few musculo-skeletal problems, i walk a bit funny, which causes odd pressurse in my shoes/feet, and my shoes all wear out astoundingly early, and i have calluses on all my feet.

Ugh I hate my feet, others feet and especially ads on tv about foot infections! Ewwwww!

My present boyfriend is the first I've ever felt in any way comfortable enough with to not wear socks and let him touch my feet - I wouldn't say I'm entirely comfortable with it but I'm getting there...but no feet do NOTHING what so ever for me...t

Agree totally. Don't like guys feet either! Although I don't really mind mine, they're actually quite nice as feet go, I think.

I myself am not fond of feet at all, but I try to keep them in alright condition, so I just moisturise them before I got to bed and wear socks, to help absorb the moisturiser!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,930 ✭✭✭✭challengemaster

Mine are just loverly. Lots of callus and tend to lose chunks of skin after some training sessions. Gotta love training on wooden floors.

Feet are alright. Mine used to be really manky but I looked after them and cared for them and got them looking alright, they just get a bit dry if I dont moisturise them well.

Meh, they're just feet, I can never understand how so many people are weirded out by them.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 533 ✭✭✭SpookyDoll

.....ya cant polish a turd as they say, tis all about damage limitation really with the old plates of meat.

Keep em nice and clean, nails short and clean, the odd french manicure for weddings etc....thats about the holy all of it. Try to avoid damaging shoes, dont want bunions a la Posh spice.

I try to wear white socks or non shedding socks so that I do not get any black sock fluff in the toenails, I notice this makes clean nails look dirty.

Keep em clean, dry and disease free I suppose is all ya can really do!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 296 ✭✭BeansMeansHynes

Eugh I HATE feet! I think its a phobia I have.

I hate when summer comes around and you see lots of people in flip flops and sandals with the most manky uncared for feet ever. Its disgusting! Cracked heels, yellow toe nails and other manky things. Yuck.

Men in flip flops is one of my biggest turn offs ever.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,252 ✭✭✭✭Madame Razz

    Currently my toenails are navyblue!!!

Personally I try to look after mine best I can. I think its important, your feet carry you around all day every day after all, so they should be looked after. Treat myself to a pedicure every so often and do my own home one every week or so. Have a serious thing against bare toenails so have to keep mine painted- cannot look at them otherwise! Like to indulge in mad coloured nail polishes for them etc.

Had the gel toes last summer and they were lovely, looked very well, though i have heard good and bad things about them.

I am lucky really, i don't have a lot of trouble with my feet, so no crazy cracked heel or dry skin sandpaper stories from me.

I wouldn't expect a man to have a pedicure now, but dirty manky feet would be kind of disgusting I think, though not as bad as smelly ones!!

I don't know that feet matter too much to a guy. though I have had mine commented on before, that they look well, or that they feel nice. I suppose nobody likes the sandpaper sole felling against their skin really do they!!

Just a selection of many foot-hating comments. I had no idea that feet were so reviled.

I quite like mine, they're little and dainty, I have tiny toesies and I have them french polished monthly. Cute even.

    However, men's feet disgust me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,345 ✭✭✭SarcasticFairy

I don't mind other peoples feet, but I have quite odd feet indeed. I inherited bad toes, of all things, from my mother. But I look after my feet otherwise... I also have flat feet... Just bad feet in general... <sighs>:(

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,165 ✭✭✭✭brianthebard

Lolz @ girlI, since you are so tall I was half expecting you to be complaining about huge feet, but obviously not the case....Is there anything that's not nice about you? :p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,121 ✭✭✭Censorsh!t

as long as they're not too hairy or scaly.

    Mine are...ok.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,779 ✭✭✭Day Lewin

Criminy, who'd have thought that feet were so unpopular? I like them, even mens', if they are clean and cared for. They are very hard to draw though.
i get a pedicure verey few months - i do think that bare nails in sandals have a sort of "unfinished" look. But failing that, a nailbrush and a lick of polish do a lot for feet. And best of all, a tan.

Oh woodenfloors the worst for training on! Mine are exactly the same! I don't have a problem with feet but when you study martial arts you really can't anyway!

Vaseline is a life saver for the missing chunks;)

I have the monkey feet thing going on aswell, I've got really long toes! My feet look like they would be very happy with me swinging out of a tree. Sorry monkeyfudge! But I don't really mind it, I think it's kinda funny.

The skin on my feet is all hard and ugly.
My boyfriend has the softest feet ever. Dunno how he does it.

Ive learned to appreciate my feet as weird as that sounds! 15 years doing ballet destroyed them, they were always gross and callusy and blistered.
Now i dont dance as intensely anymore and theyre soft, and kept nice and self-pedicured!
    Super!
Dont mind fellas feet either-I call my bf Frodo cuza his big hairy yokes!

I am repulsed by feet, be they my own, my boyfriends or those of a stranger.
I can't handle anyone touching my feet, I can't handle anyone touching me with their feet. Ugh it's vile.

My feet are very small and they look like they've been bound...hence the username.

The thought of someone touching my feet scares me, let alone the thought of someone ... sucking them! Eww!

I do paint my toenails though. I like to use red polish. And sometimes, I'll put cocoa butter on them and wear socks to bed, so when I wake up, they're nice and smooth.

I think feet are ugly, so I like to make mine as pretty as possible!

I love feet, they are so cool.

    feet are a wonderful thing.

they move you around, get you were you need to go. they are durable, will last you a life time and can be beautiful. i love feet. not in a sex way, no thanks but in a admiring way.
thats why my tattoo is there and my art portfolio starts with chicken feet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,739 ✭✭✭✭minidazzler

And no 2 peoples feet are the same, everyone has oddness about them which I love!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,928 ✭✭✭✭rainbow kirby

I *hate* feet. Mine are horrible - long, narrow, flat and right now they're showing the war wounds of a 20-mile run. Not particularly fond of other people's feet either, they're just not a particularly nice part of the body.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,390 ✭✭✭The Big Red Button

I don't get why so many people have this weird foot phobia! It's just silly, because everyone has them, even you!

I love my feet, they're very pretty and cute and nice. Nothing wrong with them. And yes I do keep them nicely manicured always!

However I don't see them as being in anyway sexual ... feet aren't yuck, but they're not exactly sexy either!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,730 ✭✭✭✭entropi

So feet eh? I really dont mind them myself. Sure i'm training as a reflexologist right now so i'd have to like them ha! And i give a good foot massage too;)

No you promise to give good massages, and then never deliver. :pac:

Really weird ugly feet run in my family. I kinda like that sense of continuity.
That my ugly feet will be causing revulsion in generations to come.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,085 ✭✭✭Xiney

My feet, despite being of gargantuan proportions, are actually nice, I think.

I mean, since I can't find women's shoes to fit me I end up going around in men's shoes (currently a pair of royal purple globe skater shoes) which help to preserve their non-ugliness since they don't get squished into weird shapes or develop crazy calouses.

I'm still prone to calouses on the balls of my feet from walking a lot, but I try to take care of that. And I take ok care of my toe nails. I mean, they're all there, they're all neatly trimmed and clean and free of fungal infestation.

Which is really all I'm concerned about.

I love ladies feet. I always have quite honestly I think its since I use to see the rolo advert when the artist use to draw the boy and girl kissing. I use to wish i was the boy. I was young!

    anyway....

I love my wifes feet and legs. In fact they are one of her best assets.

Are they kinky, yes they are!

Are they sex yes they are!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,883 ✭✭✭shellyboo

The thought of someone touching my feet scares me, let alone the thought of someone ... sucking them! Eww!

    *shudder*

Anyone attempting to lick, suck, or kiss my feet would be in reception of a swift kick to the face.

I did buy some lovely Lush foot scrubby stuff, and it's nice. But I still do not like my feet.

    Ditto.

They're not too bad now, and I do always keep them cut and my nails painted. I try to fight off the calluses but I enjoy walking, so it's par for the course. :o

I know a lot of people hate feet but I'm not really bothered. I mean, I wouldn't want anyone touching my feet or sucking my toes but other than that, I don't care. I moisturise and my toe nails are always painted so I guess my feet are nice!

OMG that ad is disgusting, I gag everytime I see it and I don't even mind feet!

I try to keep my own feet moisturised and my toes are always painted now too (currently red!) so they don't look to bad, but I have to admit men with really black hairy toes isn't the nicest!
