    Hi,
Samson is a DSPCA foster dog who has recently gone missing in Dundrum but has been spotted today in Ballinteer. He is a medium sized tan/ginger terrier mix (hairy) with white paws and a white tail. Was wearing a red collar. Not sure if i can post a picture but there's one on the Dublin SPCA facebook page. He is very timid (but friendly) and doesn't respond to his name, loves hiding under things.

Just found this very friendly guy on the navan road in D7. Strangely enough he really strongly smelled of fish! Keeping him here until we call the pound in the morning.

Sorry for the link it's my first time posting and I couldn't figure out how to post a pic!

Edit- dog and owner happily reunited.

Hey, so i'm pretty sure theres a lost cat in my area Baldoyle, not 100% but i've never seen it and I seen all the cats in this area. It followed me home
after petting it and is kinda looking around the place confused. However, my mam doesn't want it to come in the house. Will it be fine over the night? I know strays are but this one ain't stray for sure.

If it sticks around till monday i'll bring it to the vet. It has a collar but no name or number on it. I put out a dish of dry food and its going nuts for it more so than my own cat has for a long time.

Anyhow, anyone in baldoyle area, black shorthair with a little bell on its collar

hi, has anyone lost a black, furry, extremely friendly cat in the finglas/charlestown cityside phase 2 area over the last few weeks?? it has been hanging around our house lately and likes our couch very much! if you have any info on it's owner, please pm me, brought the cat to the vet, not chipped, but defo not a stray, too friendly, so most likely she is lost or abandoned....a bit on the deaf side too, prob why it's lost...

Hi, my dog is missing from the Adare area since last Monday week. She's approx a 3 yr old female Husky with blue eyes, she answers to the name of Odie and she is neutered. She was wearing a collar but this was found nearby. We are worried she may have been stolen. If she is stolen, has anyone idea if there is a way to get her back, websites selling huskys etc.?

My nephews Yorkshire terrier has gone missing around Baldoyle this evening. He came out of Seagrange park and believe he may have been hit by a car on Grange Rosd before running off in the direction of the race course park/coast development. He's a little chubby grey and brown coloured fella called Gucci.

Update: dogs been found. Was taken home by a 2nd car who hit him. Driver saw ad we put up. Moving about and playing but off to the vet later for a check up

Anyone missing a greyhound/lurcher in Galway?

There is a dog outside our work that looks lost, seems friendly enough and has a collar, but is hungry and scared so won't come close enough to catch, has been there for the last two days.

light brown/Beige greyhound/lurcher type with a red collar. No tag on the collar from what I can see.

Around Parkmore in Ballybrit. Spotted outside Audi garage yesterday and Metronic/EA today.

Have you contacted any rescues about him. You should contact the SPCA for your county. They practically specialise in abandoned greyhounds and lurchers at this stage.

Our Beagle bolted over the back wall on Sunday evening because of fireworks and hasn't been seen since from the Arklow area. Very worried as he's a house dog and not used to sleeping outdoors and wouldn't be used to traffic or the roads.

I'd really appreciate it if anyone from the area or surrounding area could keep an eye out. He has a number tag on his blue collar. Thanks.

Edit: just to add that there's a €200 reward for his safe return.

Hey, found this little girl wondering/lost in Dublin 13 this morning.

Here's my problems, I've two other dogs one of which is in surgery having a Mass Cell Tumor removed today.

The dog in surgery is a bitch who doesn't get on with other bitches, and as mentioned this 'little girl' is a bitch.

I urgently need to get her into shelter or adopted before 4pm.

I've had terrible experiences with Ashtown in the past, I've rescued my two Staffy's out of there with some difficulties so I'd rather avoid sheltering her there.

Another other suggestions in the Dublin north area please.

    438825.jpg

***Sorted and she's sheltering at Raheny Vets, Dublin 5.. She's NOT chipped***

I've contacted my Vet, when I'm collecting Ruby she'll be scanned. I informed them that I think someone is purposely trying to stray their dog, and another problem I have is I've a cat who I'm trying to keep away from this visitor.

The Vet said if she's scanned and the owner won't collect it then its into the hands of the dog warden.

Either way I've to get this resolved before Ruby comes out of surgery, or before my visitor meets my cat!.

Checked the vets facebook this evening and she's still not found her owner yet, the poor girl.

I feel awful, but one of my own only came out of surgery yesterday from the same vet and I simply couldn't take her, as much as I'd have loved to.

She's tiny with a big character.

Found near Linear Park, Ballybrack. Vet checked microchips, but not registered.

Black and White, Blind Cat Found in Sheeaun, near Gort, Co Galway

I found a black and white, profoundly blind, cat in my garden drive last Saturday (May 12th 2018). I live out in the countryside, so I'm stumped as to how he got here safely.
He is extremely affectionate and loving, and adores being cuddled and near me.
However, is he very thin, and suffering from lack of food.
He walks around following my voice and using his whiskers for direction finding.
Obviously a much loved pet that has got lost somehow :(
I am calling it a 'him', as he appears neutered and is quite big. It could be an extremely large female cat though.
If anyone knows who might be missing their pet cat, please contact me :) as he is here safe and being looked after.

Mod note: this poster has advised us that the owner has been found. Good news!

Aunt saw this chap around Inis Lua and Inis Mor (Limerick) yesterday and this morning. He has brown leather collar but no tag on it. Very friendly temperament. She's not 100% sure if he's lost (but got worried when she saw him out and about).

probably unlikely to find this cats previous owners but he's sooo friendly and cuddly and has that 'only pet spoiled attitude' that I'm certain he belonged to someone.

    Male
Found in Newcastle West 3/4months ago. I've been searching lost/found and only just thought of boards.
No idea of age, he had a rough time on the streets.
    Unneutered
    No chip
    Black patches on white.
    Extremely friendly with people

If you think he's your cat, feel free to pm me here(He's currently in my care) or contact Deel Animal Action Group.

Apparently a parrot was spotted hanging out with the pigeons in a park in Cork - I though it might be someone's escaped pet, so I thought I'd flag it here.
