Mrs Tonto is verging on showing up for her first Boards spin. If that's the case we'll probably go with the 10am crew. If I'm on my own, the early start might work better for me.

Thats a pretty darn early graduation! Surely they wouldn't begrudge you showing up slightly sweaty and in skin tight lycra, you can just pop the gown over everything!

I am in for the early one, assume I'm not coming if I'm not there on time.

Is it the usual dundrum start?

We have to report at 8.30 to get gowns etc etc... I'd be all for arriving in sweaty lycra, but mummy and daddy Explosions would not like it one little bit... and you don't want to anger bigg daddy explosions...! :)

Slow and steady. I'm not in any rush -- the most important thing for me at the moment is time on he bike.

Well, I'd be on for leaving DNS at about 730.
Giro d'Lombardia is on tomorrow at 1415, so I'd like to be back for that.

Hi folks, would be interested in doing this as have been off for various reasons and need to shift the rust. Can we establish a route/ distance so I can work out if I'll survive?

Ta much. be good to catch up with the alpine legends too......

... what about that thing called 'sleep'???

I'm sort of leaning towards Caroline on that one, I like my sleep I do. But I am at least somewhat flexible for something earlier than the usual 10am.

Sleep = recovery = better cyclist = beat Raam up the hills ... wait now .. I don't think anyone can sleep enough for that

Does this mean the original 9 a.m. time under the Luas bridge in Dundrum is the agreed plan?

If by that, you mean 815, then yes.

Early start suits me but I was out for a spin this morning for the first time in a busy month and I defo wouldn't be able for 150km or any fast ascents. Will probably do my own route up that awful hill mentioned on the other thread at stocking lane, up to Sally Gap, up/down to Roundwood and back by Enniskerry. If you see me, I'll have my "Le Competitive Commuteur" face on me;)
