Tonight I'm filling the baths and all containers in the house with petrol, diesel, beer, spirits and cigarettes.

RTDH is also mailing me some blueprints so I can build a bunker where I can camp out until the recession is over.

to be honest i don't think this is a bad idea, it's a good way of getting some money, its only ten euro it's not a huge amount, only problem would be for people who need to fly very regularly then maybe they could have a monthly or yealry payment for them..

Yeah that's a good idea, sure potatos are as safe as houses. Oh wait, fu*k, hang on a minute, who just said houses aren't safe anymore!?!?!?!

It's an idiotic stealth tax. They could at least have the balls to raise PAYE and take €1000 off you in one go, rather than sneaking three or four euros off you every day.

Guys you have it all wrong. All you need is to bookmark the freebie section and we're sorted. As long as the offers keep running till the recesion is over and people still except the Belfast Postcode for Dublin or worries are over.

better give the bicycle a service and invest in a good pair of walking boots
and a woolly hat and scarf to keep warm in bed
and set the alarm clock an hour earlier so I won't have to waste electricity on lights at night

yeah that's true but then everyone would go very mental all together..
another idea maybe would be to take a % of the price of the ticke say 10% so if you ticket is 100 euro you pay ten and if its 500 you pay 50...that would probably be a way better idea and then it would be fairer..

Get yerselves one of these bad boys in case there's a mad rush to the airport. Avoid the red tape! Just jet yourself over to t'mainland!

Or better yet, start building one of these and save money on fuel.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,893 ✭✭✭Harpy

i can think of one positive from this recession.. all those little kids walkin round in their designer clothes such as tommy hilfiger and abercrombie will finally be reduced to hand me downs!! the good ol' days of hand me downs will return we had to go through it they should too.:D..lets see how they all react to that.

Ooooh I wouldn't like to hang myself with that. Tesco Value - 'twould burn the neck of you.
You're (presumably) only gonna hang yourself once, so you might aswell splash out on some luxury rope.

Sorry to derail slightly lads but this doesn't merit its own thread. What time does it start today and wheres the best place online to follow it online ?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,698 ✭✭✭Dinter

Tbh I'll be following it here. All you people with full internet access can get the information, interpret it, simplify it and tell me what's going on.

If they mention an income levy you can leave that bit out though. ;)
