I'm only 6 years out of CIT, we had to take down most of the muck. Don't think I could have afforded a laptop back then to be honest so just as well :D

Most of the time I'm the only person in the whole class taking down notes on my lappy :o

Everyone else is using printouts or taking it down.

The printers/computers in the library are so slow and unresponsive!! I spent 45 minutes trying to print out some lecture notes and ended up having to leave without them!! Grr!

Does anyone know how to change the time and date for outlook? I've received emails today, as in was having an email conversation with a course director and the time and date for the emails are all wrong. One that I just received is showing up as being sent yesterday  I know it was sent just a couple of secs ago.

Anyone shed any light on this?

If you go to options in the right hand corner, then to settings the third option on your right hand side, then to regional which is the last tab there should be a setting there for your current time zone.
You should check another email just in case it is the sender whose settings arent set up properly and their time and date could be the ones coming through.

My group only got a C1 in a presentation for Interaction, Relationships and Networks, I thought it went much better. I kinda need a few As this semester, the QCA isn't great. This sort of thing doesn't help!

Right, can't find what modules I have for 4th year because the website only has the new course outline on it. I don't have an old prospectus to hand so I emailed my course co-ordinator. Twice. Leaving a week between the two emails.

I'm going to hold my counsel here because you don't know who's watching it but I will pose the question; how hard would it be to answer that question?

    :(

My bitch for the day is that other taught postgrads only have to write 8,000 words max for their dissertations, while my course have to write between 25,000 and 35,000 words!!

I'm after losing my iPod in the library :(

Either it fell out of my pocket on the way to the bathroom (50% sure I brought it with me in my pocket)

Or some asshole swiped it from my desk while I was gone.

Yes yes, it was my own fault for leaving it there, but seriously though, who ever took it....FCUK YOU!!!:mad::mad::(:(:(:( *

I've checked my pockets a million times. So much that people probably think I am feeling myself up. :o

Feck. And the day was going so well :(. I was finally getting somewhere with my project.

*Alternatively, if you happened to find it, and handed it in at security...THANK YOU. :)

Group projects! Hated hated hated them. What, in God's name, are you supposed to learn from the process? (apart from the fact that you suss out who will do the work and who will have to be kept 'busy' doing work of no relevance whatsoever just to stop them cocking the whole thing up) You should be able to put it on your CV ("survived 3 group projects with no blood being spilt") The greatest waste of time and effort ever. Never, never again (did I mention I'm not too partial to group projects?)

F**king alarms and all sorts of beeping noises constantly going off in the library. Its like they don't want anyone to study.

The ent. project is due on thursday, no-one else in the group seems to have decided what section they want to do!!

And one guy, his interview is almost indecipherable, and he didn't bother tell me the name of the entrepreneur, his company, or what exactly his company does!!
I sent him an email asking him for all this information on Friday and he still hasn't replied!!:mad::mad:
