    Not a bad day all in all for September - little sprinkling of rain this morning and then intermitant sunny spells. Even managed to get the grass cut this evening.

    Rain last 15 mins or so around the 20mm/hr mark, usually this means the edge of the front is close. Total so far 35.6mm since midnight.

    Gone very dark here, think that clump of showers to the east must be close, dont think it will make it this far inland though Mothman and Trogdor should see something from it.
    I just got round to installing a real rain guage (brass one) that Mothman lent me (needed to borrow a trowel from the gardener), should be interesting to see the difference between its measurements and the electronic one.

    Man I have just come back from a class and had something to eat. It is really gorgeous out now. Living in leixlip. Only supposed to be 16 max today. I actually think it is about 21. So nice after all that rain.
