Nocturnal Nerds

I think it's safe to say that most posters in the nocturnal forum are slightly nerd-ish :p Having met most of you Saturday night, my curiousity has heightened. Yer an interesting crowd !! :D I wana know more, (including the people that weren't at the beers). Tell me something nerdy about yourself... hehehe like nerdy…

You should drop in and have a look { I'm there most nights or your can email / check the IRC channel }.

It's a huge mix of people, so you don't have to be embarrassed about your knowledge. The Hackerspace is a place to learn and share knowledge.

Two of the girls have run intro classes on " Beginners PHP " and " Learning programming from scratch with Python ". :pac:

But we will also have a few advanced Java and C classes coming up soon, but that should not stop you asking other there any questions anyway :pac:

ah I just mean when i get back into it a bit, cause at this stage i'm less than a baby when it comes to programming.

Yesterday, I learned that the Android API has libraries for 2D and 3D graphics. Apparently, they were considering implementing a 4D library, but didn't, due to lack of time.

Hi I'm new and a gamer, mostly board games and RPGs:D I did a Masters in Film Studies and all my DVDs are organised by genre and then alphabetically by title (I'd do it by director but no one I know would find anything). I also write and love reading fantasy novels
