If you were to lower your moral standards, and be impressed by a man, purly for the sake of his car.
    What car would it be?

That depends on the MK.....there is something very endearing about the steadfast reliabilty of the older models. :D

    OOOOoooooooooh,

Tough one......; not that I'd ever be impressed by such a thing BUT...

Land Rover defender..... they so freakin cool....

    Jaguar XK8.... phwooaaarrr...

    Porsche 911..... tacky but hey....

Big mercs and beemers would do nothing for me., tho a five series 540d would be pretty impressive....

A vintage car would also be fairly impressive.

OOOOh, and an AUDI A5, they're class!!!

or an Aston Martin DB9.... miaooow!!

More practically a golf GTI is always nice; or a lovely Alfa Romeo Brera....

And of course there would be a proviso letting me drive them!!

Mark V automatic. The driver is a reliable older model if that helps?

    Jaguar XK8.... phwooaaarrr...

Ooh I could be in there :D

And the lady knows her cars

Naaaaaaa, a car wouldn't do it. But I really do like the classic XKE jaguar roadster rag top from the 1960s. That extraordinarily long front (or nose or bonnet or whatever you want to call it) is so sexy!

**For The-Rigger: I'm not talking Atari Jaguar!**

The lady knows and likes her cars;)

And the XK8 is just frreakin special.... if you have one fair play to you; id have one too if i had the luxury of a such a choice!!!

It'd take more than a car to sway me though i am proud to say:p

Our CEO drives an E-Type. It's one of 3 cars that I could possibly be persuaded to lower my moral standards and try a bit of manlove in exchange for one. I'd have to get to keep it though, I'm not a total slut you know! An Aston Martin DB5 and a Frrrari 250 GTO are the other two, in case anyone cares.

I reject automobiles and refuse to even learn to drive

I do have a soft spot for the E-Type though, tbh.

I saw a guy with a lovely old mustang outside the shops near my house the other day. It was it mint condition, lovely shiny red paint and cream leather seats!! He was totally not my type at all, but the car......droooool

I have spent the last 3 years putting money aside for one of these as a treat. This time next year I should have bought it. I will never let anyone else inside it, it is going to be my haven. I don't care how sexy women find it, that's not the point of it for me, I just adore that car.

I dont pay enough attention to cars to be able to name them....I like black ones? Ones that start when you turn the key? I'm not fussy enough I suppose.

I have a red mini - if male types reading this are interested. But I don't even know if thats a good thing or not, so if its a bad thing, forget I mentioned it;).

    WHAT a great thread....

Top of the list.......Bugatti Veyron.....but like theres no chance :pac:

Nissan Skyline GTR (not a tacky one)

Pretty much any red Alfa Romeo...as long as it's still running :D

Toyota Celica (as long as its not white)

    Golf GTI.....noice!

Any Bentley or Jag (I know, I know......but they're so classy!)

Any Aston Martin...pref the Vanquish but ya can't have everything!

    Audi R8......purrrrr

Of course all the supercars like Lambos, Koenigsegg, Porsche Carrera GT (only acceptable Porsche) nd the merc mcLaren SLR.....but seriously.....pigs will fly :pac:

Oooh....and the best of all......Trans Am......good god what I would give to sit it one, let alone drive it!!! :D:D:D

Defo not a mini anyway! Sorry to the lads that have one, but they are too girly for me!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,766 ✭✭✭Reku

    lol
All these ladies who know WAY more about cars than me. It's always funny when the guys start talking motors and think that just because I'm a guy I give a damn. When I bother to learn to drive and get a car it'll just be as a way to get from A to B for me.
Besides, the really cool guys drive APCs and tanks. :p

Not an Audi of any shape or form. I have a particular aversion to Audi drivers. They are the biggest pricks on the roads imo. I do like the cars though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 198 ✭✭quinevere

ok not that it matters of course their personality counts for more

Porsche 356 is my fav car just so cool - a man that has a porsche 356 could sway me

The Audi r8 is there anyone that doesn't love it !!!!

Aston martin would be in there too seen one the other day it was so yummy.

however to be in with a chance he would have to be willing to let me drive his cars and most fellas don't like to share their toys,

I really dont like big flashy cars. I'd feel embarrassed driving something that is such an ostentatious display of wealth.
I doubt if I'd be attracted to a man who did drive something like that.

And guys who talk about cars too much are so boring.

But I do love a nice powerful car. My first(ish)* was a VW Scirocco gt2. I loved driving that thing.

*first was really a renault 19, but the scirocco sounds so much better.
