    Wells House, Ballyedmond, Co. Wexford, Ireland
    Join Alice, the Mad Hatter and friends at Wells House for an afternoon of puppets, face painters, story telling, White Rabbit Treasure Hunt and much, much more.

    A back to school, end of summer extravaganza of fun and games.

    Wear your best and maddest Hat, dust down your Alice-band, find the Tweedle-Dum to your Tweedle-Dee or simply pack your own tea party and enjoy the fun.

    Our usual activities will be available on the day :
    - the activity playground
    - archery
    - giant chess and checkers
    - the Falconer with his birds of prey
    - delicious drinks and snacks from The Little Kitchen
    - sweets and drinks from Wells House & Gardens Tuck Shop

    We will also welcome :
    - Featherbed Icecream - straight from the cows in Oylegate to the hungry hoards in Wells
    - Southeast Animal Rescue with puppies & kittens for adoption and some other furry friends

    Prizes are on offer for the best and maddest Hat or outfit so raid those cupboards, investigate the attic and get ready for the Tea Party of the year at Wells House and Gardens.

    Usual entry fee at the gate of €6 per car applies

    The SIPTU national campaign to defend Home Help services is convening a series of meetings in county Wexford during August.

    The SIPTU Home Helps campaign is focused on defending services for the benefit of workers and their clients. The Wexford meetings will mark the beginning of the campaign to defend local Home Help services.”

    The campaign meetings in county Wexford are being held in the following venues:

    Bellefield GAA Club, Enniscorthy at 4.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 21st August.

    SIPTU Office, Coolcotts, Wexford Town, at 7.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 21st August.

    St. Mary’s Youth Centre, New Ross, at 7.00 p.m. on Wednesday, 22nd August.

    St Colombus Old Folks’ Club, Gorey, at 7.00 p.m. on Monday, 27th August

    To celebrate Enniscorthy Castle hosting the National Art of the State Exhibition, the Castle will open to the public on the following days during the Christmas break: Thursday 27th, Friday 28th, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th from 12.00 - 4.00 p.m.

    The exhibition is on display until Sunday, 13th January 2013, and admission is free
