And that is why I would prefer to give mine to fellow boardsies by PM instead of the piranhas who lurk here constantly. They snap up the vouchers but they coulnt be arsed to post back to say so.

Will talk to a Mod about getting this thread made members only. This issue is ruining it for those who have the decency to post their thanks.

Won't stop the lurkers but it will remove it from the view of the general masses snapping up voucher codes,

    Voucher expiry date: 5th December 2008 :)

Awaiting a reply from the Mods to see if we can make this private.

how will i get in here if it private:mad:

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,864 ✭✭✭MunsterCycling

By being a member, I figure that a high % of vouchers are being snapped up by guests and we need to stamp that out, won't stop lurkers taking them but it'll be a start.

Brown envelops would be a start :D

I think the making the thread private is a bit un-necessary to be honest. I mean it's equally likely members are using them, and just not telling us.

Instead, I'll enforce a 'Voucher Codes by PM ONLY' rule in the charter. No more voucher codes are to be posted on thread. Simply say on thread if you've a voucher and the first person to PM you gets it.

Everyone's on a level playing field then.

I presume excluding ones that can be used more than once....

Suppose they'd be an exception to the rule alright.. as long as you're sure they can be used by multiple users.

ye ofcourse. Also you gonna make clear, that its all voucher codes and not just cdwow codes?

  • Registered Users Posts: 43,774 ✭✭✭✭Basq

Suppose I'll add to the charter.. but we rarely get codes for anywhere else besides CDWOW as far as I can remember.

Will these codes work on hong kong site ?

The codes only work for the currency shown on them. That is something that should be obvious as the value and currency will be shown. If its not then its up to everyone who post the codes to state the currency.

i purchased a cd on cd wow uk last week for £7.99 (9.81eu showed on my cc statement)
on the cdwow.ie site it was 12.49eu.
it's another thing to keep in mind.
the 1eu vouchers aint worth it
the £1 vouchers are well worth getting but you'll
probably save that using bangcd.com anyway

You dont really notice the difference as they shove €2 on to the prices first and then send out emails saying that they are dropping the price by €2.
