    wish i had this thread about an hour ago

    had the power out in my house there, i've never noticed before but i'm screwed without electricity.

    1. internet down.
    2. pc down.
    3. dect phones down.
    4. oven and hobs down.
    5. alarm box down (so it turns its siren on).
    6. mobile phone battery died during it too.

    it was quite literally back in the stone age for an hour or so.

    was a good excuse to go and get a takeaway though.

    go for a drive
    go for a walk
    go for a swim
    read a book /magazines
    use last bit of battery on laptop
    clean room / house / wardrobe / car

    If your alarm's going off it means the battery in the main box is dead but the battery in the bell box is OK ;)

    yup my brother came in from work and went straight for the shower. and i said how you gonna have a shower it's off the electricity to which he replies the other shower head isn't. i forgot we have two shower heads in the shower :o

    i got served for trying to serve someone :(
