Mothman i posted a while back a small black and yellow caterpiller that was on this plant.

Hi V Bull cracking shot of the black tern. Those are not little ringed plovers but ringed plover mixing with Dunlin. Little ringed plovers rarely show up in Ireland.

its a combination of lens, camera, person and location.You do need a fairly decent camera and also a good lens. I would recommend you visit this web site for general information on lenses and cameras. www.kenrockwell.com. when I am buying gear I always consult his site and it has never let me down. Also by asking people on this site and others you will find out what people are using, I think you will find that most people are using high to mid range Canon gear like the canon 5d MK2 or canon D7.

ya saw my first one last saturday, flew past me within 50 yards of me.
you really couldnt mistake them for anything else, very distinctive!

It is a garden spider

I've only see dark coloured garden spiders. It's a spider that gives me the creeps along with house spiders and funnel webs
