Spotted this guy again today..always thought he was a pied wagtail- but it appears he may be a Hybrid( Grey & Pied)
He certainly acts like a grey

This guy turned a bit on the aggressive side towards my daughter because we didn't have food for him. He gave her a smack with his rack and she cried so was time to head. Think he was one of the main lads as the others avoided him when he walked near them.

Yes. Would love to see one in the wild. None around Dublin though.

My local garden centre is feeding birds at the moment, so I popped down with the camera this morning and took a few shots. Having lamented not seeing Coal Tits in quite a while, I'm happy to say I saw quite a few there today. The weather was dull and overcast, so the shots could have been better.

RrUZvgI saw a guy feeding the bucks also. He had a bag of apples and carrots and was giving each buck something. Then one buck decided he wanted it all. The guy turned his back to the buck and that's when it happened , the buck ran at him hitting him in the back with its antlers and an upward flick of the bucks head ripped the guys jacket.
There is a valid reason why people are warned not to feed the deer in the park. They are wild animals at the end of the day. People feeding them has reduced or removed their fear of humans so now they are comfortable close to people. This is where the danger lies as they are wild and unpredictable and stronger than people think ,they are also armed with formidable weapons.
At some point someone will get badly injured and who will get the blame ? The deer of course even though it's our fault.........

Is this the same.???.. taken at the Dropping Well... in fact on the Hippo(Woody) in the Dodder. This bird seems to act kinda like a grey wagtail.. staying on water and hopping from rock to rock- that is at the times I have seen it

I do believe the correct ID is a Rhinoceros, not Hippo :D:D:D

i think i prefer shots taken in these conditions, as the colours can be richer as the light is less contrasty.
