It's January - a bit cold - but the light is good... how come no pics?

One from this morning.... Dodder walk

(anyway the good news is that any photo I upload to Flickr with the word ‘tit’ in it gets three times as many hits as those without that word.
    No idea why:P

I think we might have met - Were you there around 10.30/11.00?

Nice job getting the Fieldfare! Not often a Fieldfare is more elusive than a Waxwing! :D

@ Bernard0368, love that flight shot!

Thanks, I thought I had enough of waxwings when I went for the Fieldfare!

I realise now that we did meet. I was there 11-12. Were you the one who was there with Andrew? I will introduce myself next time 😀

I'm feeling quite hurt! I feel like I wasn't invited to the party! :)
Brilliant shots of the Waxwings by the way.

I was pleasantly surprised to see several Honey bees (Apis mellifera) foraging on a Viburnum bush which is in full bloom in my garden at the moment. They were quite small, so I reckon they're female workers.

Not really. Honey bees will be active on mild days.
