yurOK2 , The Camera I am using is a Canon 1200D with a number of lenses , Mostly for the Wildlife shots i have been using a 70-300 IS USM lens and the Macro shots were taken with either a 18-55 Kit lens or with a 17-85 IS USM Macro lens with Macro tubes on some of the closer photos . The 1200D is my first DSLR and I am moving up to a 70D hopefully this week, just waiting on the delivery. Glad you like the photos.....

Any Idea what type of hover fly ? this is , it was about 25mm Long and sounded like a wasp in flight

I know absolutely nothing about cameras, I've never actually owned a camera, always use my phone for photos, but I would love to get a little starter DSLR.

The photos are brilliant, I find myself checking this thread everytime I log in to boards :pac:

I saw a man catch this wrasse off Ring Pier near Clonakilty. The photo doesn't do justice to the vivid bottle greenness off this fish.Do anyone know it's name?
It was returned to the sea.

Colours vary a great deal but it could be a Ballan Wrasse.
