If you live on the coast might start seeing lots of dead or dieing birds getting washed up. Reading bbc site and its from the storms and 100's covered in oil and getting washed up south west of england. Today found 7 in different stages of decomp and know one person found a gullimot covered in oil and thats didn't last long. :(

I saw plenty of spawn out in my aunt's pond last week, for sure!

Also the cormorants at Heuston are in breeding plumage:

It was a bit far away and I had to zoom right in and then crop it...anyway is this a Hare or a Rabbit? I'm thinking Rabbit as it seems to have small ears but I'm no expert on these things...

    Rabbit.
When you see a hate trust me you'll know. Huge size difference.
Bigger ears, darker body and bigger legs

Wow,that's some beast of a lens!:)

I'm just back from a morning of shooting on the local river and must admit I'm slightly disappointed with the resulting images. You know yourself, they look good on the camera's LCD screen but when you get them up on the laptop later, they don't look half as impressive.:( Yeah,I think I'm going to have to start scrimping for a 400/500mm. lens.
