I don't really mind... i had done a good job of eating healthy even when out of action to avoid putting on all the crap weight i lost anyways. At least now it is for a more enjoyable reason!

I've been known to sit up for hours drinking many cups of tea, though I think hot chocolate wins this for me. Coffee only if I'm studying or something.

    How about you, fellow Nocturnals?

I don't like any hot fluids in my mouth.

My favourite late night drink is 3 parts diet 7up to 1 part coke.

We used to call it a suicider when I was a kid!

Alas, there's only a dribble of milk in the house. Looks like I'll be having tea instead.

    /error - not enough parameters...

If you want to stay awake then espresso with 2 sugars (or red bull if you want cold).

If you want sleeps then hot whiskey FTW.

My ex told me white hot chocolate was amazing and made me buy it one day.

Just tasted like warm milk with about 10 teaspoons of sugar in it to me.....

    Atari Jaguar for me! :p

If I have any hot drink I have to put loads of sugar in it coz I have quite a sweet tooth. More sugar = less sleep.
Plus there's the whole "caffeine" thing in the case of tea and coffee. So I usually don't have hot drinks at this time of night coz I'll never sleep otherwise.

Although hot chocolate sounds mighty tempting. Imo, the nicest hot chocolate is the type that's 50% milk, 50% white:

Put a teaspoon (or 2) of cocoa powder in a microwaveable mug, mix it with a little cold milk to make a paste, than fill 3/4 of the mug with milk and stir.
    Microwave it to boiling point.
Add a fistful of milk chocolate chips and a fistful of white chocolate chips (if no chips, than milk/white chocolate Buttons chopped up will do)
Allow the chips to melt, stir in a little sugar if necessary.
Throw some marshmallows on top and sprinkle some chocolate powder (the kind you put on cappucinos)

    ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!

It's got to be red bull...when i was studying for my degree, i went 6-8 weeks with only getting 3 hours sleep during the day...i drank about 2-3 litres of the cheap one from Tesco called kick...

Milo, it's a hot drink you get in NZ/OZ. It's like horlicks in that it's malty but also tastes chocolately. You can't beat it!
