garda pay

thinking of joining gards and cant find any concrete inforabout garda pay! first 6 months in templemore all food and accom is paid for and the mon is pretty rubbish !!!! but could someone please provide me with details how what it starts off as and how it increases each year? much appreciated thanx STEVE

Yes service in the Defence Forces does carry over into the Guards, we asked that ourselves and it our lecturers said it does.
