Meh. Question. In the English essay 'Its only 3 days away, im so excited' or something like that, I said i cant wait to go on a Voyage with charles darwin, and Took reference from the reading comprehension once or twice.. do i lose? :<

I also chose that option and wrote it as a first person narrative (does that make sense). Basically, it was just about me and what I did in the 3 days leading up to the exam. The idea was good but I don't think I wrote it very well.

LaVaughn!!!!!!!! hahaha hated that and the poem :(
it was so crap a bit no sensical tbh but id around 15 mins to answer the whole fiction section cause ms thick here fecked up on her time :(

LaVaughn was extremely boring. I even got to the point where I thought to myself whether or not it was worth finishing! Luckily, I did finish it.:D

The poem was incredibly easy. Definitely the easiest poem I have come across in my Junior Cert course and although I understood it, I'm not sure my answers were written very well, though.

I thought it was handy enough, though everyone seems to have found Paper 2 harder then Paper 1.

For the personal writing, I chose the unfairness one, wrote about a homeless lad in Moscow. Homeless people are easy as hell to write about.

And I found it hard to get the NASA thing into just 200 words.

    Good luck tomorrow!

No, each question is marked on its own, not in relation to other sections.
You used a bit of cop-on.

I've no idea how some people managed to write a 4 page essay as I only had 15 minutes left for the last question and I only wrote two pages for the essay on Paper 1.

Did you do a plan for your essay? My teacher told me to spend 10 minutes at the start creating a plan. It really helps if you want to write a long / good story.

Anyone do the NASA question? After finishing it I decided to count how many words I wrote, by complete coincidence I wrote 199 words lol

I think I had about 199 words in the NASA thing too!! Although I may have missed a word or two cause I was just speed counting it! I doubt they'll penilise you for having it slightly over the 200.

Paper 1 for me was B-E-A-Utiful. Paper two was a disaster. The questions on the studied poetry and studied novel and studied play just didn't suit me, even though i had them studied :(

i so agree with you on paper 1 and paper 2 i just waffeled on about stuff an di did the nasa one to think i got 197 words but like you i was speed counting.

The examiner is not going to be counting for the exact word count.

Its a general quota not an exact goal.

As regards the NASA Question, I think the question stated that answers should be 170-200 words. It didn't say anything like "Answers should not exceed 200 words". I think they just said it like that so people dont write tiny 100 word answers but don't waffle on for ages about how they want to see moon rocks :D.
