You can't get free codes for V serial numbers. Try a Ford dealer or there are various commercial unlocking services.

Quick question folks. I got a 04 Focus recently but without the original Ford radio in it. If I get one second hand from a scrappy, will the radio work providing I get the code for it?

Yeah, it should work no bother. Did that for a Mk1 and it was fine once I got the code.

Your serial number should be 6 digits and not 5 as given.

for andoid download an app called "renault radio code generator", that will tell you where to look for a 4 character code on your radio and you enter this code to get the unlock for your radio
