Don't take this as gospel cause I can't find the link, but I read somewhere that its you get 300 honour for each turn in. A turn in consists of one mark from each BG. So if you have 100 marks from each BG saved up its an easy 30,000 honour = epax

yea, same I cant access the link at work, but theres a screencap of the quest on one of the WoW sites, 1 x mark from each BG nets you 314 honor.

Wow (pun intended), I didnt hear of this until i came on here, this is great news, now i might actually upgrade my veterans bracers and belt to vindicator

No..don't upgrade to vind as in i'd say 3-4 weeks s4 will be here.

It's a daily quest however its repeatable, you just dont get continuous gold.

I assume it's picked up from the battlemasters as per the daily honor grind.

My understanding is that its a repeatable but not daily quest (i.e. you can turn in as many times as you want in one day). It appears to be picked up from the Horde Warbringer (dunno what the alliance guy is called) - the same guy who gives the daily BG quest.

But I thought that the next season would only be replacing venge stuff, or are there going to be new honor items aswell?

There are always new non-set items. S3/Vengeful was Vindicators, S2/Merciless was Veteran and S1/Gladiator was well... I cant actually remember, as it was removed at season 3. Likewise, Veteran items will be removed when season 4 starts.

Also, say fairwell to Season 1 welfare epics and a big hello to Season 2 welfare epics Just in time for me to gear up my new rogue! Then I can walk it into Karazhan with 0 attunement, with perhaps a quick look-in to Najentus and some other HJ/BT bosses before commencing the endless grind to get... enough badges to get Tier 6 equivalent gear...

Don't think this will happen until Arena Season 4 starts, which could be as much as 2 months off yet.

It kind of piss's me off that i spent 3200 arena points on S2 crossbow when S3 came out. It took like 3months to get 3200 points

Maybe i should try and get my Raiting up a bit more. At the moment im 1600 in 2 v 2 which does net me 350points a week best i have done so far. I just dont pvp much i guess.

Your best bet is to jump into a 5v5 or even 3v3 team.
At a similar rating the points difference is pretty vast.
At 1600 rating, a 2v2 team nets you 354 points while a 5v5 team nets you 465.

You dont have to be particularly good for it to be worth your while and you can still continue to play your 2v2 team for fun/practice or hell, if you get a high enough rating in your 2v2 team and get more than your 5v5 team, then its an another bonus

Sorry i just turned 70 last night i have 20k honour do i spend it on a piece of glad gear or wait for something else. really confused about ppl saying new patch honour gear.

the gear thats out now is the season 3 gear. in about a month or so the season 4 gear will be available, which is slightly better.

if you just hit 70 then go buy one of the season 3 pieces now imo.

get the piece thats equal to the biggest upgrade to ur current armor, which is probably a mix of green and blues?

im the same i only recently stated to do PVP and im still pretty lost on how it all works, i read AV guide and that certainly helped a little. are there any good resources that people can recommend how what to do with PVP in general i.e info on all the battlegrounds 2v2 3v3 stuff etc, how to get more points and also what the hell you can do with the points! Idiots guide to PVP would be nice

For people who have recently reached level 70, with honour points to spend or not, I would recommend picking up the Arena 0.5 set that was just added to the game. Its a blue set, but its got a hefty chunk of resilience on it with a decent 4 piece bonus and the same +35 resilience 2 piece bonus as is on the gladiator gear.

Dont get me wrong, its pretty dire but the cost is Honoured with a few factions and ~100gold. Then with whatever honour you have available, buy the trinket(s) first or save it all to start buying the S2 gear once its changed over at Season 4. It shouldnt be any longer than 2-3 weeks so trust me... you'll thank me in 4 weeks time

The new Arena 0.5 set is actually great if you've just hit 70 and want to do some PvP.

You can one piece from various rep reward vendors - thrallmar/keepers of time/lower city etc. All you need is honoured rep and the total cost is something like 120g.
