The boot on the new one is a lot better than the old model beetle, but it it won't work it won't work :)

Did you look at the A3?

    Audi's are seriously pricey IIRC??

Not a million miles off the Hyundai.

€31,900 for a 3 door TSI 110bhp in black or white (including dealer and related charges)
That's for a mid spec SE model.

Trade in value might be stronger hopefully ;)

Renault might still be selling the Megane Coupe though the hatchback is being replaced very soon with a new model.

The Megane 5dr hatchback and estate are being replaced with a newer model this summer but I'm not sure if the Megane coupe is being replaced at the same time, it might soldier on a bit longer. The Megane coupe would be similar in design to the Opel Astra 3dr.

The sc is 1446 high, your own would be 1480ish so 35mm or so. Not a massive difference but def shorter.
    Scirocco is 1404 high.

Your shortlist of cars that come in 3 door and a decent auto is pretty short. Has to be worth a look :)

I know. Getting one that's suitable is the problem

Beetle ain't gonna work. F@&k all boot space. Need a bit of boot space to put my chair into if I have a passenger!? Sometimes family members may travel with me...

    So, what I need is:

    1. Auto
    2. 3-door
    3. Preferably no centre armrest/console
    4. Decent amount of boot space for wheelchair

Correct me if I am wrong, but did you not manage in a Fiesta before?
I would place the Beetle as a much bigger car.

Not yet, but I will. Someone said that its lower than a Sirocco....?

    No
    I said AS LOW :D

Golf Boot size = 380 litre

Beetle boot size = 310 Litres

    For reference

That's another car I was thinking of. Somebody said that they're the same as a Golf.....?

Mechanically the Leon, Golf, Octavia and A3 are all the same.

Hi all. OP here again. Im looking for recommendations for a new car......same as before......3 door, automatic, petrol. However, I won't be able to spend as much this time around, so am looking for something around the 20k mark.

Import a C class coupé. You’ll not be charged VRT or Nox.

3 door hatchbacks are gone the way of the dodo now. Manufacturers just don't produce them anymore due to lack of demand. Your options will be very limited.

This all I could really find, a Golf:

3 door hatchbacks are do g out so you would be better looking for something with a wide opening rear door

    And get in the back?

I’m guessing he wants to be easily able to place his wheelchair in the back?

I think (Mental Mickey is a repeat customer here!) what he does is lift the wheelchair in from the drivers seat which is why he goes 3 door.

Fiesta or Mini are probably best options then. Kia feed I think is 3 door too
