Im a night owl! Your very welcome guys, I enter tens of comps every week!!
Im hoping to win a holiday. My parents say im very lucky because i have
won so many prizes. At christmas i won a huge hamper and a cheque
for €200. I gave the hamper to my mom but i kept 1 box of chocs!!!!
Now if they get 3 stars on a scratch card they make me sign it.

But really im not that lucky i just enter so many competitions....
And if i dont win... hopefully it will be one of you.

I'm a cheap skate. I NEVER enter competitions that would cost me money... actually only if its a radio competition. And if its something im really interested in winning!!! So i enter the online competitions. I spend less than two hours each day looking for comps and entering them... but in the end if you win the prize, its all worth it!!! Hoping i dont sound crazy....

Like a few people that have entered the flake comp, I have been entering daily and still no sign. So I was just wondering how do they inform you of your win, do you just see it when you log in, or do they send you an email beforehand to notify you?

No i dont, I dont deliberately not enter them i just dont bother. I do post the scratch cards with three stars on them though... a girl can dream!

My girlfriend as won quite a few things from that.

She enters either just after midnight or early in the morning as she reckons that it is the first 100 that get picked.

They email you. You log in from the link on the email and choose the lipstick/ gloss you want. I won when the competition first started up so I think there are a lot more people entering it now. I've had no luck since.

Cheers guys, the competition ended up a shambles in the end.. 3 or 4 contestants turned off their cookies and spent the whole day voting for themselves over and over, going from an achievable 500ish posts up to 2100 :eek:

That's very unfortunate Elliee. Would you consider complaining to Eircom. After all if they win, it seems they have acquired the prizes dishonestly. I genuinely thought yours was the best one. I voted too!

That's a pretty bad setup Ellie, I entered a similar competition last year with Budget Travel on Facebook, the whole thing descended into a farce with it being a case of get as many people to vote for you as possible, it turned into a spamming competition with people hurling verbal abuse at each other on the Budget Travel facebook page, didn't do their marketing any favours in the end no one won as they went bust!!!
