And speaking of E8200s (or 8400s), I spotted this thread on the bargains forum: eBuyer.co.uk flogging a bargain basement Acer Altos Xeon server for 180 euro.

Acer Altos G330 Mk2 Dual-Core Xeon E3110 / 3GHz / 1GB / DVD / Gigabit Ethernet

140 sterling ~= 180 euro.

Add your own SATA HDs, monitor, OS, extra RAM, etc.

The Xeon E3110 is latest spec dual-core 45nm, 3 MB L2 cache per core, 1333 MHz FSB, etc.
This chip is itself available at eBuyer for 128 sterling, so you get a fair bit for your extra 12 quid :-)

Radeon 2600Pro 23 euro - Dabs.ie. Spotted earlier, fantastic bargain. Normally only get very low end cards like 8400GS, 3450 in that price range.

Maplins are also currently selling the 580W Sli/Crossfire X-Power Gamer edition PSU for 47.99. Decent price, decent supply.

Try Lidl for their 22inch LG, it was about 260euro, now any left in the stores are reduced to 180euro. Its not a current model but still looks great on my desk for 180euro.
