As far as I know, it's only on the "Live in Galway" album, which is brilliant. I don't think a song so mental would work as just a studio track. Live is where it's at!

That sounds like a pretty cool show, i might give it a listen....

I see at one point you were playing local bands. If i were to send you a demo, d'ya think you could give us some airtime? (assuming you like te demo that is :D)

Yup - we usually fit in a couple of tracks from bands based in the South East every show. The standard is very high though!!!

Can you send in a CD along with your band's bio to:

    Rob O'Connor
    Beat 102-103
    The Broadcast Centre,
    Ardkeen,
    Waterford

Bear in mind, an awful lot of stuff comes in each week, so it sometimes takes me a fortnight or so to get around to listening to tracks. However, I guarantee that ALL music sent in does get listened to.

Cool! I'll send that off today or tomoro so!

    Hey there!

It was great hearing Dirty Epics on Sunday - more more more!:D

  • Registered Users Posts: 361 ✭✭curly.bert

Dirty Epics are class. That track "Pony" is particularly stompworthy. We had them on during thefestivalthatshallnotbenamed, but should have them as guests again in September/October when their album is released.

If you like Dirty Epics, would be worth your while checking out The Lullabees too. http://www.myspace.com/thelullabees

Mick Reilly, one of the crashbangwallop noisemerchants from Ilya K was my guest on the show this evening to talk about their new album 'Anaesthesia ad Infinitum.' Shane Barry & The Distractions were my guests on this evening's show. Miserable weather outside so the music I played tonight seemed the aural equivalent of curling up in front of the fire and drinking a hot mug of tea. Or whatever .... analogies aren't my strong suit ...

    6-7PM
