There's no batman on that list, why not?

Batman (unlike Jesus and Superman for examples) had no superpowers.

    He is however a Superhero.

    Sylar from Heroes.

    >_>
    <_<

He's more evil than good though, so I'd probably just have to tie him up and keep him in my room...

Jesus wasn't fictional. It's been proven that he existed.

Superman is the daddy of all superheroes.

Hiro from Heroes, he can stop time and kill any of your stupid superheroes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,188 ✭✭✭wil

    Terry!

Though some say, in very hushed tones, that he really exists and is watching over all of us, just watching and waiting, till he is needed.

I'll say yes to this also, Hiro could do it all, and you would never even known he had visited :D

And on that note, my 1,000th post after nearly 7 years in the making :p

Batman! The boyfriend claims to be Batman, of course, but I don't recall Batman being small and tubby! ;) *

*Disclaimer (In case the boyfriend reads this): Small and tubby is attractive!

    HIRO!!

i'm playing catch up with the whole Heroes craze (only half way through the first series) but frankly that guy is the only reason i've watched it.

Hadn't even thought of it, but now that you mention it.....:p

Actually, further proof that he is not Batman, as Batman would surely have used that line by now.

I like Superman too, but only Dean Cain Superman, who is not really Superman. I don't think I like real Superman, just fictional Superman played by Dean Cain. Actually, I think I just like Dean Cain.

Demonstrating restraint as only a true superhero would in the sequel when he is conflicted between showing his true feelings but ultimately destroying the thing he loves, or dabbling in the dark side and doing nothing.

    Terry Returns! :

And this time he needs beer.

Bionic Woman! or Wonder Woman!....err scatch that, we can't have a female hero/heroine :D
Has to be Superman, he'd knock out Hiro before he could play that time trick :)

There was a programme a few years back on the BBC where they tried to put a face to him and they went into detail on the information that is known about him. Also got this from Wikipedia:
One recent study has stated that biblical scholars and most historians accept the historical existence of Jesus and regard claims against existence regarded as "effectively refuted".

    Gordon Freeman

Vortigaunt: No pit would be complete without the Freeman climbing out of it.
    Dr. Breen to Gordon Freeman:
Yes. I'm talking to you, the so-called One Free Man. I have a question for you. How could you have thrown it all away? It staggers the mind. A man of science, with the ability to sway reactionary and fearful minds toward the truth, choosing instead to embark on a path of ignorance and decay. Make no mistake, Dr. Freeman. This is not a scientific revolution you have sparked...this is death and finality.

also I think the strongest evidence they have for his existence is a tomb stone for a Jesus who had a brother named James, which doesn't really tell us much at all. and the bulk of the evidence after that they have i believe is a Jesus who was involved in a political movement, not any spiritual movement afaik?

Historical Jesus is quite well documented and, for the sake of argument: proven. Hysterical Jesus, now...

Claire from Heroes by a long way. I can't see either Superman or Jesus looking half as sexy in a cheerleader's outfit.
