    One nomination only please folks.

    Can be a game, console's peroformance for the year, event, or announcement (for example the delay of GTA 4 was your biggest disapointment does count)

    Any nominations must have a European release date between December 26th 2006 and December 25th 2007 (except for consoles)

    Was struggling between Xbox for reliabilty and PS3 for games.

    Xbox is still away for repair yet PS3 takes a back seat whilst I post on boards.
    Can't wait for the xbox to be back.

    I nominate PS3.

    Crysis

    Mainly because the hype around the nanosuit made it seem like you could run through the jungle getting into every fight (ie armour would save you), or sneak around (cloaked) or use speed to run past everything or use strength to bash everything. Sounds well and good but the problem is that none of the powers lasted long enough to make a difference to how you played.

    my nomination is for the Wii

    great little console but it has for the majority of the year failed to impress me with an exception to Super Mario Galaxy.

    Before anyone gets on to me about the PS3, I wasnt disapointed with its performance because thats what I expected to see from the build up to its launch.

    The Wii on the other hand has pretty much underachieved since its launch and hopefully will pick up next year.

    Just to add something new to the mix although I'm not sure it counts here but Gamespot bowing down to advertising in the whole Kane & Lynch debacle.

    Wow... no one has said Halo 3...

    I thought it was bit of a shambles... I thought the first 2 were entertaining to a point, but the third one felt incredibly dull... I still haven't bothered playing the last level.
