I checked the offer on the website and it says that it comes off after the item goes into your basket.

    http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/default.aspx?c=ie&l=en&s=dfo&~ck=bt

    thurs your link.

No real bargains though, and on 3 attempts I never got the discount applied, which is odd since it is applied to all....

be wary, I suspect prices went up by about €140 last week.

This 'offer' has more to do with long lead-times on the regular site than with actual bargains. They're quoting 5 weeks for 1520s, which is f-all use to xmas buyers.....

Problem is you have Dimension Desktops selected in the search box up on top, there are loads in Inspiron Desktops..

    I just bought a m1330
    T7500 2.2 2 Duo processor ,
    160 gb (7400) hard drive
    2048 ram
    bluetooth etc

    for 802.00 euro
The exact same spec is 1599.00 on the main site, inc the discounts and free delivery - so a bargain I think

thanks to the OP as I had already done my "look at the outlet store" for this week - and no offer

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,555 ✭✭✭CH3OH

    I got the following
    INSPIRON 1521 ATHLON 64 X2 TK55

FIXED INTERNAL 8X DVD+/- RW DRIVE

I really must be doing something wrong as the cheapest thing I can see on the dell outlet for a notebook is 549.00 ????

Cant see anywhere to minus €145 ??

It's very well hidden. Add the PC to your shopping cart and it will then show you a list of optional accessories. The €140 discount is in the middle of a list entitled 'Software & Peripherals'!

Good man, cheers will go take a look!

Is it just me or is the pricing a bit crap. I mean still good value after the discount but the subtotal I thought I was paying hadn't vat added!

Is there a way to check the specification of an outlet machine after purchase and payment? The email order ref just says the model and cpu. I made an order a couple days ago and just wondering is there a way to check the full details.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 107 ✭✭doodio

I want an M1330 desperately, but it doesn't seem the outlet store says if it's gone the nvidia video card? Does anyone know off hand, have they seen an m1330 that said it had the 8400?

All the ones I checked when I was purchasing never mentioned the gfx card. Maybe they're all just the standard intel gfx.

I think when they process the order they send you out a spec. Its a copy of whats on the website and not 100% accurate from my past experience.

And if you only ordered it yesterday than it probably hasn't even been charged to your credit card yet - just call them up and tell them you don't want it anymore. I ordered one yesterday and haven't even gotten an order confirmation from them yet - so unless they're dealing with yours particularly quickly, then it probably wont even make it onto your credit card before you cancel it.

Just got a booking reference email this morning so not sure how far along it is. Just thought if someone on here was looking one they could have it.
No bothers, will try and cancel it.

Anyone know what the deal is with Delivery on these? I ordered about 10 days ago and received some temporary order number. Today I finally received some Statement of Account. Does this mean it should be ready to ship?

I don't think it is... or if it is it isn't me who's benefitting.
google "dell outlet" (http://www.google.ie/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLJ,GGLJ:2006-50,GGLJ:en&q=dell+outlet) and it's the first non-sponsored dell domain site.
