Seriously, I see so many things like this, bits of superfluous plastic that you stick onto an aeg or gbb, that are pointless on the face of it, but...

Call it "tactical" piece of superfluous plastic you stick on and it will sell!

I think its more a marketing ploy than tactical, though they can look cool on a well upgraded m4. Get a tan one, ehobby do them I think.

i didnt see any tan ones on ehobby, it would need to match the paint job i have anyway so would still have to be painted.,
i know they have no real function and i was more so wondering if it gets in the way., I like the look of it and thought it might look good with the vietnam mags i have comming in some time soom., I have to do something to try to make an armalite good looking.,:D

Well tacticrap wont do that, a stock m4a1 looks very nice imo, its just common but thankfully most people tart them up so mine still looks good by comparison, with nothing on it, I'll just do it up internally, I'm going to go the way of the east soon though, ak's and the like, too many people running around with m14,15,16,4,249,9,1911,60(cant complain bout that one),etc.

Those magwells, you wont be able to get a vn era mag out again! Bar gravity!

they are issues to some units and do make it a bit faster to sometimes load mags but nothing out of this world.

the VN mag isnt realy that small though, it would still leave a decent sized bit to hold onto.,. i wanna make mine look a little different from the rest, i dont like armalites to begin with and on a saturday HRTA is flooded with them.,lol, i repainted the desert M4 again the other night and it looks a lot better, the old paint was wearing itself shiney but the new one has a gritty sandy kinda feel to it.,

I think an m4,16 can only be good looking if left stock, a vn era, an m16a3,m4a1 etc.

Or if you go all out with a paintjob and somplete tactical job, as in the above image. I'm not a fan of rails and ad-ons though, its just my preference to have a stock aeg for display and use.

one of my M4s is gonna be a sniper and the standard mags dont really go with the whole look of it.,
i like the pistol grip on that too, was gonna get one of them.,
