They'll look like real tools when they do intro goal like tech, which they will sooner rather than later.

FIFA already made statement regarding the goal that wasnt ,the short version the cost of technology out weights the beneift

No they didnt, the pundits and new stations have been reading statements made by Fifa in march on goal line technology.

It was pretty sickening alright as it would have leveled the match and England were in the ascendancy. But in fairness they have been a shocking team this world cup and I'm happy germany are through, was rooting for them heavy, Germany and Holland have always been my wolrd cup teams.

Englands midfield is so disjointed, how on earth they think they can play 4 central midfielders in a 4-4-2 is beyond me.

How in 2010 they think they can play 4-4-2 and be competitive is even more baffling.

O well, cant wait for tomorrow for the complete OTT hype from their media. As Ditti Haman said today in his punditry

"England are over rated, their league is a success not because of these players, but foreign players."

That German team is going to be some force in the next few years. Schweinsteigers transformation from golden boy winger to string pulling central midfielder has been the story of the world cup imo.

Two weeks before the biggest tournament in world football, your told your playing in the heart of the german midfield, and have to fill michael ballacks shoes, the lads done even better. A fantastic revelation and has been comparable to only Alonso for me so far for central midfielders.

And at 25, if he keeps that stuff up, wouldnt suprise me if he makes a big money move, looks so composed.

And Luis Fabiano today revealed he would only leave Sevilla to join Man U, how sick would fergie be that one of the top strikers wants to join him, but he has to spend his money on a midfielder instead :D

They have forgotten about those poor buys with the gems they have gotten ;)

Also should be remembered that some quality players left united, but werent cut out for old trafford, Diego Forlan being the most formiddable.

One of the top five strikers in the world the last 5-6 years, but couldn't buy a goal for united.

sure veyron was the same one of his best games came when he was just about to be sold during the us trip a few years back,

forlan hit form when he got to spain be intresting if he comes back to the premier league

Damn I miss the soccer forum :D

ole gunnar with the best buy ever "bargin of the century"
    £1.5 million fee to United

    Dennis Irwin
    £625,000

Crocked striker that never got a stable run out for a season.

Or a left back that was hailed as the original and best " attack wingback"

    I know who I'd take :)

Also a certain Portugese player may hold claim to being the bargain of the century, and the most profitable.

Folks - here's something to watch out for - documentary on Afghan:

    http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/independent/restrepo/

from what I've read about this I reckon it's going to be pretty on the ball in terms of showing what it's been like out there. Think Generation Kill, but live/real footage.
