On the other hand MW2 looked good on videos but ended up being nothing special. Apart from online game.

As much as I like MOH's new direction, those games have never failed to disappoint me.

    Looks good alright.

But i'll wait till i see some gameplay.
Airborne truely was rubbish, they had some sort of Boss system in the game which removed all credibility from single player for me.

    Then online was pants.

Plus it was known with mw2 it'd be mostly focused on online, few kinks, but it's still brilliant.

Medal of honour in modern times? How far are they behind.

MoH was always a decent to poor franchise. Call of duty came on the scene and literally blew it out of the water. MoH never got a foothold again. I remember playing allied assault which was their best, going on the beach in Omaha, and not an ounce of blood on screen and thinking " **** off this is for toddlers".

So not only did call of duty come out with modern warfare and put a firm stake and nearly monopoly on the modern times first person shooter, they bring out their second installment which smashes records all over and is now kingping...

EA decide they should slip out a game, that looks like a CoD clone for the nintendo 64.

Another poor move by EA and another nail in the coffin for medal of honour, wont be touching this.

However in typical EA style, I'd imagine they will offer exclusive gameplay rights to magazines and websites that offer a 9/10 rating..... in which case you will find out some more **** magazines with no credability...and another black mark versus EA.

Nice cut scenes but if anyone makes up their mind on a cut scene you'll need your head examined. Theres a complete lack of detail in the characters there and it could be mistaken for being an original xbox game. MW2 has some really detailed scenes which would be a big plus over that video at least.

I wouldnt say its gonna be sh1t just yet though, I never liked call of duty either until Modern Warfare 1. :)

Itll be interesting to see if this new MoH game tries to please the market that MW2 ignored.

And yeah, that airborne one was absolute cack.

apparrently EA is looking to become the best fps producer and beating Infinity ward there putting serious cash onto the production of the new MOH including hiring operators from various Spec -ops units to help with the look and feel of the missions and game play
the Guy on the game cover is a Real deal operator featured in a discover programme in afghaistan,

on a slightly different game note

Batman Arkham Asylum 2 is due sometime in the new year Epic:)

I played one or two of them briefly, but got bored very quickly.
Visuals on that look excellent, but I'd imagine its the same tired old gameplay and storyline.

Yeah, I've only played 4 properly. Tried one/two once at a mates. Just laughed at how old and "boxy" it was :)

It can be quite repetitive, but I still love it.

EA are not regarded anywhere in the FPS genre, and need to do alot of hard work to get anywhere near the likes of Rare (Golden Eye),Infinity Ward(CoD), Valve( Half life and counter strike) or Edge ( Gears of war). Even Ubiasoft are miles ahead of EA.

EA did alot of damage to themselves with buying out MoH, and they have time and time again pissed of consumers with their over the top anti piracy inititives that seem to hamper genuine buyers more then pirates.

There whole empire has been built on buying EVERY sports sim out there and rolling out updates every year and making a fortune of them.

There biggest franchises are The Sims, Fifa and other sports games, says alot in fairness.

In fairness activision are no better. They rolled out some pretty s**t COD sequels just to roll in the dosh and take advantage, while infinity ward sat in the background making the good ones.

Also, it's not like Activision (or ActivisionBlizzard I should say) are not making a fortune too. The money alone from WoW must be huge.

I am a fan of the origional MoH's, especially allied assault, and yes they always were a bit "suitable for kids" and didn't move with the times, where CoD did, but now I think they've been given the time to catch up, they know what they're up against, and maybe they'll come out on top. I'm skeptical as I hate EA with a passion, but I'm still looking forward to the new MoH.

...P.S: Batman Arkham Asylum 2- epic win

Of course they are making company, its one statistic that proves what a quality game developer they are.

Blizzard stand head to toe above the rest when it comes to game developement, from there in depth community activity and interaction, to their really in depth beta testing to ensure their games are pretty much flawless on release.

They then put in "balance teams" whose sole purpose is to balance the game perfectly as possible. The money from WoW is huge. But its not like they arnt putting that money back into the game.

They have unlimited amounts of content, new expansions, unreal community depth and social capacity and servers to hold over 7 million people comfortably.

Blizzard alone have some of the biggest selling franchises of all time.

Diablo, Warcraft and Starcraft, they have the biggest played/selling game in WoW, they have the hotly anticipated titles in Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2, and they have a new mmo which is causing a severe buzz in the gaming scene.

Not to mention Starcraft and Warcraft 3 were and still are two of the hottest titles to be played at professional tournaments and WoW is now slowly getting some of the pie.

Then you have Activision who have some pretty big game titles themselves in Tony Hawk, Solder of fortune and quake4.

Activision have their fingers in alot of pies, heres an interesting point of fact.

MoH Allied Assault is regarded as the best MoH game in the series. Activision came and put some investment into the project and handed over some developement staff for the title and it was a huge hit. They then pulled out of the series when they felt AA was going to be the best they could get.

    And even more interesting.

Activision put some big finance and personal into a little known company back in the day, Infinity Ward, now responsible for CoD modern warfare 1 and 2, and remember Infinity ward were responsible for Allied Assault developement aswell.

So its safe to say Activision and blizzard, are pretty much better, as proven by their game sales, current gamers numbers playing their games, and most importantly the profit they role over annually.

In April 2009, Duffy was involved in an accident where a car reversed into him and crushed his leg.In result from this horrific injury Joe spent a number of months bedridden at home in Clontarf, where he received a number of poll-dances from some of dublin's top class lapdancers.

    LOL!
