Could be bad ammo though. Despite how much spare 7.62 there is floating around the middle east theatres, western forces won't use it because it fails more than it fires. Either it'll bite misshapen rims, jam or just not fire for a dozen reasons. It might explain why two failed in exactly the same way.

turkey uses NATO ammo and produces 45% of natos 5.56 and 7.62mm ammo lol..the G3 notably one of the most reliable guns ever made

I didnt shoot it here, i shot the G3 over on holidays in turkey, so full auto was on option, a crazy one lol

There are loads of dodgey aks though, loads of countries make their own clones as they arent patented, the sort that end up in the hands of your typical tango, big difference to the modern stuff, as most of it is poorly made copies.

Did the aks have the folding bayonets?

You didn't miss much, it was mostly Dave Mustaine giving out about how he was in Metallica for a wet weekend 30 years ago or something. So basically the same as any other Megadeth show, i.e. ****e.
