I would presume most boardsies would be a bit young for the menopause, but i do agrree the mid-life crisis comment was harsh. All you BGRH regulars are young and virile!

I'd say there'll be a lot of slagging going back and forth for the first while, then things will came down between both forums. One it stays mature and the mod's keep and open mind it'll be more fun than either the menopause or a mid-life crisis.

I agree, it'll fun to have a "sisterhood" like the brotherhood. Although, we need to think of a name for the men along the lines of "the wimmins"!

but BGRh is all very tongue in cheek really. It's not really women bashing. i'm about %80 sure of that!

I read bout three threads and in each one - woman ktichen - stuff. I was sick of it. I agree that a chat room for women is needed, also useful for men.
Even husbands and boyfr would not ask or understand their OH some of the stuff we could sort out ourselves. Sometimes we dont know ourselves. It helps to get another woman's prespective on things

Funny how men suddenly 'discover' the menapause then and pms the fact it happens to a lot of women they see everyday. Oh and the change can last for 2 to 5 years.

with regard BGRH I honestly believe that its meant tongue in cheek. they try to outdo themselves with mysognistic comments. they are all good men at heart.

But seriously, and back on topic, early menopause is something that is becoming more and more relivant. Some women as young late 20 have been seen starting. Now im sure there are cases of earlier but he earliest i have found is late 20's.

Now that is very very scary.

In all fairness though, if it was something that i had happen to me at a young age, and i had no children at the time i would spend money to do what it takes..... if that was what i wanted.
