wow that 8 weeks went fast - too little too late....

Don't suppose one of them is my secret santa pressie!!!

So gorgeous - will really miss seeing the updates - maybe some of them maybe going to fellow boardsies?

:o the time has come to let my seven little newfies off to new homes. Been the BEST ever 8 weeks with them :) .... learned so much from them and loved watching them grow from teeny little pups, to big, chunky, funny, gorgeous Newfies. Will miss them all soooooo

Hope this ðoesnt sound like a stupid question.. But will the mother dog miss her pups ?

It's a year to the day since we started the process of adopting Henry from the pound, it's been a lot of work, lots of training, lots of destroyed beds, toys, shoes, etc. But the rewards of seeing how happy he is now makes it all so worthwhile, him and Jake are best pals, he absolutely loves going for walks and games of fetch, he's learned lots of tricks, likes to sleep and is in general a clever little thing. To anyone considering adopting a dog from the pound, having gone through our second rescue I'd say go for it.

Was round at my friends last night and was delighted to see this.... especially as the boxer was on her last legs a couple of weeks ago but has rallied round fortunately.

Cats in Xmas trees make me smile and then a sense of dread comes over me (ours isn't up yet).

I think Bertie knocked it over 3 times last year . . .

I mentioned over on the chat thread that we had a visitor that I have been feeding over the last few days. Here are my 2 having a nose out the window at her :)

I know! Shes such a cutie :D, we leave the door open when she comes to visit and she comes into the kitchen for a bit and has something to eat at the door. I havent introduced her face to face to my 2 yet but she goes up to the door into the kitchen where they are and they make noises at each other

It's been a funny couple of weeks with our new little fluffster. She was a girl, then a boy, then a girl, then a boy... FINALLY i managed to get confirmation (ie I saw his winkie) and so we are GO with hamster boy! None of the names we were trying suited until we thought of "Twitch". (Seriously, he could be sitting perfectly content with you watching tv and the washing machine going full tilt but you go to scratch your leg or something and he freaks!)

And I finally got out the 'fancy' camera. ooooOOOOOooooh...

This is our cat and my first pet... Morris

Possibly the most affectionate cat I've ever come across with humans, dogs and other cats

    Morris1_zpsa27dc512.jpg
Morris as a kitten about a year and a half ago

    Morris4_zpsc1bf9964.jpg
Morris befriended a neighbour's female cat (which I think is rare) and they now spend most days playing together
