Yeah, I find they are. Not in the same way as dogs or cats or even rabbits- they are solitary and quite territorial. But Isabella will come to the door of her cage and stare out at us to get out, and she enjoys running around on top of us on the couch. She really likes getting underneath my gf's hair! She'll 'mark' us ocassionally which is the same as what a cat would do. She'll chatter her teeth if you do something she's not happy with, but she doesn't do it often. She's really quite mellow. Once one of us is with her when she meets someone new she'll let them pick her up and scratch her head and stuff.

Not all hamsters will be the same though, I know of some owners who can't pick theirs up even after a year.

So I have moved to Canada to be with my boyfriend. Miss Smudge, Sparkle and Jake but I know they are being well looked after

:D

Our one bedroom apartment was feeling a bit lonely so we decided to get a kitty! This little girl and her sister were at the local humane society! Her sister was adopted while we were there and we didnt want to leave her on her own!

We called her Pepper! Shes about four months old and she is an energetic lil thing!

Sam and Kia, Kia is a husky who's just the friendliest dog ever, they often have a nice run around the field, the only half decent picture cos they never stop moving

He has his own armchair, cushions, beds around the house, but if there's a gap in the couch in the extension :rolleyes:

Stray cat (who has adopted my Grandmother) gave birth to three kittens about 8 weeks ago. She's keeping one (the little grey one in the first three photos) and has found a home for the other two, together, in a week's time. So super cute!
