The reason I ask is I wanted to hear from someone living with them if the usual 'Restricted Breed', hearsay is BS; I assume it is ?

From what I've heard talking to Saffies, they're like any other hunting breed; & if properly socialised, they know their position in the 'pack' & are generally kept busy, they're no more dangerous than hamsters :D

From Phoenix's position on the couch, I can see you've covered the position in the pack part :D

This is Tiger. I found her as a stray kitten at 4 weeks old.
Sadly she died at a magnificent age of 26 Years old!
This is her at 25 years old!

Wow that's amazing, she doesn't even look half that age in the photos! My lady is 7 next month and everytime I think of her age I nearly well up thinking she could be halfway through her life already, hope she lives to be as old as your tiger! Congrats for caring for her so well to get her to that age and sorry to hear she passed but that's an amazing age for a cat!

No one would believe she was 26, but since we had her from such an early age, the vets had her records in storage.. pre computer days!!

26 years old?? Serious kudos to you for the level of care and love you gave her for her to reach that fantastic age. I'm sorry for your loss but that is a great achievement. She was so beautiful.

I never had a problem with Phoenix, there is no such thing as a dangerous breed anyway.

I don't mind him being on the couch, for me it';s more a question of being consistent, he's hardly gonna take over the household because he is allowed on the couch:p

Like with any breed, you obviously need to train and socialize your dog :)
