The Irish National Sailing School www.inss.ie are good, but seem to finish in November.

Sailing in Dublin continue through the Winter. www.sailingindublin.ie
It doesn't matter which dinghy you learn on - time on the water is what matters.

i have contacted two clubs down my way - lough derg. and they are going to let me know when classes start up again. Kind of surprised at the level of commitment expected from members. I got on to a freind in one club and he was grilling me for height and weight to see who i might be suitable to race with. Then it was on the youll be expected to sail thursdays and sundays every week from may to sept.

Man i was hoping to balance my diving and sailing next year. Dive when its calm, sail when its windy. might have to rethink that.
