I'm a bit of an Astra fan. Dunno why, I'm told I'm mad, but I am on my 4th one now. My first was an Astra G (98-2004) Model...
Like the one pictured below.... I'm astonished that you can get a " BMW M Power" version :)
The car is having an identity crisis. A BMW, M Powered Opel, with Lexus lights.

Also spotted this bad boy in the Phoenix Park...

People can say what they wish about alfa's, but they sure know how to make a beautiful car.:D That car will still look great in 10, 20 and 30 years time. I want one.

A perfect Alfa would be do dump the rubbish Fiat-designed engines and have a Honda S2000 engine in it. Proper order!

you've obviously never driven one of the V6 alfas, they sound better than a lot of supercars and they perform great!

I wouldnt really say that now, red murci was a great spot but the alfa was there for a much publicised launch, just outside a hotel and not at an alfa dealer. it would be great to see one driving on the road but one on a podium surrounded by ropes just isnt the same. anyone know how many are coming to ireland this year?

:D:p like steve said, its obvious that you have never driven an Arese V6 engined Alfa, and as for the engine in the 8c, its the Ferrari designed V8 from the Maserati Quattroporte, which has been converted from 4.2 to 4.7 litre capacity, I'd love to see an S2000 keep up with it!! ;):D

I'm sure someone else will know for sure, but I heard that total production numbers will be in the low thousands, and right hand drive versions will be in double figures.

    Here's a promotional video
