What's the big deal with the Opel?? I didn't think such an inferior brand would even be allowed in this thread.;)

As far as I'm concerned it's just another run of the mill Opel Astra.......nothing special really as far as I'm concerned....sorry.:)

Am I the the only one who gets a gagging reflex whenever they see a BMW 6 series ?

Man ..that is one serioulsy effed up design ...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,579 ✭✭✭junkyard

Your not wrong there peasent, since Chris Bangle got involved in BMW their designs stink. I draw the line with the E39, a brilliant car in every respect . I don't think I'll ever buy a BMW again tbh.

I get the retch from both the CLS and the 6-series I have to say; overdesigned for the sake of design.

The Quatroporte I parked beside yesterday is a different story; I get a yearning....

Thanks for posting up the image of the OPC. Its nice to see one, not the most common cars. Ive only seen 1 other before in person. I think its lovely looking.

    That CLS is just sad.....

    and the tiny brakes

Why people do that I will never understand!

    Richie.

That CLS is a demo car !!

So its Brady's the main dealers who have no taste !!

I agree about those 6 series, awful looking. I'm coming around to the 5 now. The Quattroporte is just plaine wierd, and its possibly in line for being the most troublesome car you can buy at that money !

Sorry guys this one is not from Ireland but from the US.
This is a BMW M3 a bit damaged..by the ex-girlfriend. Do not ask what did the guy did to her, he never said it, unless I have not seen his response.

Found it on e46fanatics.com and I thought it was worth having a look.
    Enjoy :-)

That's not from the US... It's irish... I saw it in the CBG ages ago... Still have the mag actually. The add read
"05 Bmw M3 Coupe 3200cc, Manual, Coupe, Black, 2dr, pmo, some cosmetic damage due to having a cheating husband. Best offer secures. Idiot put car in my name. €10,000 ono."
Now unless some1 took the pic of the site and made the add, it's Irish

EDIT Actually, looking at the chevy in the background maybe it was:D

    LHD too!

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,391 ✭✭✭jozi

It was posted in CBG, there was a thread her about it. I think the conclusion was that the image was mirrored to make it look like a right hand drive M3

It was in the USA and it was done by the husband when he discovered that his ex wife was seeing the owner of the M3 and decided to do a bit of DIY

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 34,809 ✭✭✭✭smash

A staff member in CBG added it as a marketing ploy, they got a lot of press coverage from it but it was a bu11**** ad, the photos had be knocking around the internet for ages at that stage.
