Anyone else find the hoards of these around the place absolute head wreckers? Why do they have to sing everywhere they go? And shout? And stand in massive groups in your way on every narrow footpath in dublin? Most annoying accent too.

Was gonna b1tch about them singing on buses in my chav thread below, but they're not as bad as chavs. At least some of them are quite hot.

AH should be changed to the Moaning Forum as that's all that happens here! Woo!

I don't know about you, but I personally think they're the worst thing in the world.

Yes, worse than poverty and AIDS.

Haven't really noticed many of them around this summer, maybe cos I've only been in town about twice in the past 3 months.

Was on the bus a while back and about 5 or 6 got on who obviously had had a few to drink. They sat beside us and started waffling away loudly, one guy who was obviously sober looked really embaressed and kept saying stuff to the others and then he'd get shouted (well talked loudly) at.

My point is they aint ALL bad.

Thats a bit harsh now. They might say the same thing about the groups of irish that invade their country through the summer. :D Its not like when we go to their country we are quiet and well behaved and dont cause any problems now is it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,842 ✭✭✭Floppybits

Also where they good looking? Any thongs on display?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 882 ✭✭✭cunnins4

All of the Burt Reynolds variety unfortunately.

I've never been to spain, so i've never invaded their country!

I stopped reading here, as it's obviously a lie.

Everyone knows the Spanish Students go into pubs and order only one drink and a straw each.

They don't walk down the street in massive groups so much as form a tight phalanx and charge down the footpath, running down anyone and anything in their path.

Other than that I quite like them.

I just barge through then, shoulder first.

I've taken out sixteen this summer alone. My record is forty three though, back in '93.

Doing what they normally do - playing music on the back of buses from their cheap mobiles only now looking like lobsters.

This one time in band camp........:D

Actually one of my best mates is Spanish and the told me that the vast majority of Spaniards living and working here hate the students with a vengence as well, and that most of the ones you get here are from wealthy families and are just spoiled little brats !

it's probably their answer to all the lager louts in Spain.

why does almost every country in the world lump us in with England?

I remember 2 years ago the lads from college lived with a Spanish guy called Pablo, greasy bastard. Anywho, he knew a girl we called "Crutchie" cause she was always on a crutch (can't remember why) but, my God, she was gorgeous!! Everytime she smiled at us I'd lose a month-worths supply of man juice, damn she was cute!!

Me and the lads were out the back in a pub when a little Italian guy comes up to us accusing us of nicking his phone. We kept telling him we didn't have it when next thing the tiny little prick says: "Me.......I know people. I'll show you!! There are many Italians to show." Naturally, being gentlemen and all, we started laughing at his face and promptly told him to fúck off. Had he been Sicilian, however, we would've had more respect for him..........you know, just in case he did actually know people.

well in this case it would be like walking down the street with a friend, they call some massive knacker a nasty name, and he comes over and kicks the shít out of you. we have to pay for the lager louts ignorance

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,295 ✭✭✭✭Duggy747

Actually I remember when AlmightyCushion and another friend convinced his girlfriend that they caught her Spanish housemate furiously giving it to herself on the kitchen table as they walked by the window! :p

They never bothered to tell her it was a joke and the entire house believed it :D

I call this "Spit on a Spanniard" time of year.
Long story short: if a scumbag on the dart was to try and spit on the floor, as they do regularly, he'd probably instead hit one of the hundred or so spanish students sitting there clogging the place up. And nobody would be too disgusted if he did.

whenever im in stillorgan shopping center i order my meal with an extra bigmac.

this bigmac is for throwing at the sallow skinned head reckers. Next time i see em running around the carpark like feckless eejits i just wont brake.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 165 ✭✭curiousxxx1

I can't stand them.... outside Mc Donalds... like 50 of them... Have you ever gotten on the bus with them? Jeez they stink, no seats to sit and are louder than ever.
Is it just me or do their lads seem to wear boy's clothing? Seen a few of them shopping in H&M kids section...

Stop the car, get out with 2 spray cans. Put a big black circle on their backside, and a red dot in the centre. Walk back to car, with astonished spanyards staring at you phones in hand with stupid wailing ringtone still playing. Sit down and rev engine twice. Pop the clutch.

We all do this, we won't see any of them next year.

You do realise that to other races, we smell like sour milk.
It's all to do with diet.
Spend a week eating spicy curries and you will notice the smell from your pores.

Only complaint I'd have is that they are a bit noisy, fair enough, but FFS if you're in the cinema STFU! Remember trying to watch a film 2 years ago and there happened to be a gaggle of Spanish students, they yapped through the entire thing!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,081 ✭✭✭✭chopperbyrne

Spanish people don't eat or particularly like spicy food though.

    You're confusing them with Mexicans.

Spanish students can be quite annoying, but my mate runs Quasar in Bray and they are a cash cow every summer.

I remember some foreign girl asked me for a pint of guinness before, when I served it to her she started supping it through a straw. she only took a few sups before saying "I don't know how you Irish can drink this!" I told her "without straws" and bit back a serious urge to say "you fúcking moron"

rofl - was in an Irish bar in Barcelona for a match and the place was thronged with locals knocking back guinness.

What I don't get about the spanish girls is that they're all so good looking in their early 20s and look like my granny by their late 20s.

Its all the sun they get, blitzkrieger, causes them to age faster, unlike our lovely irish girls.:D We will be the same now with this whole global warming thing.
