What is the structure of the wednesday tournament like in the JP? I've never played it, is it 4k with 3 half hour levels and the rest 20 minutes?

I think the Fitz is a sat to the Macau ME this weeke Paul. Normally it would be a 100dc (4k+4k) but not this week I believe.

Anybody heading into the SE tonight for the €50 DC?

I've bubbled the Fitz on Tuesday and the Jackpot last night, so am aiming for three bubbles in a row!!

Come on, you know you want to!

Gonna head to SE tonight. Only my 2nd live tourney in the past 3 months.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,293 ✭✭✭ionapaul

Might hit the SE - not much interest in a Macau sat, can't play it as I'll be overseas and it is a pain flogging tickets sometimes! I'm assuming I would have gotten one, of course... :)

    ^^^^

With your hit rate in them satellite's it was a lock.

I got a ticket for next Tuesday's sat to the Betdaq €440 qualifier thingy with the win last night, so will be back to uphold my sat king credentials! If I grab a ticket on Tuesday I'm come back the following week to show that my previous 'two-in-a-row' was no fluke :)

Please use this instead of creating new threads every day of the same type. This can serve to see who is going, what is the best value, how many runners it gets, and then for results if any boardsie wants to post any. Any threads posted outside this will get merged into here. From July 25th this will be enforced. If this isn't working after a couple of weeks then we can do away with this, but it should remove some of the clutter from the sub forum.

New casino has just opened in Navan town centre opposite Eddie Rockets.
Its called the Triumph casino and has texas hold-em cash games every night.
They will be hosting tournaments very soon with gaurenteed prize funds.
They also have roulette, blackjack, brag and stud poker.
Food and drinks are avalible all night.
    Opening hours are 9pm-6am.
The cash games usually kick off around 10.30pm.
If you live in Meath this place is well worth a visit.
On the weekends they usually have a few cash games going with blinds of 1-2.

    Anybody playing the SE tonight?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,720 ✭✭✭El Stuntman

I fancy a game, anyone going drinking in Kehoes playing the SE 100DC tonight?

what sort of numbers can we expect at this - less than 30 seems like a waste of time?

As far as i know the normal Thursday tournament is averaging around 40 so i would expect something like that for this.

I will probably play in an attempt to do another SE two-in-a-row (did it with the €75 Wednesday game back in early 2006): Move over Layne, it's time for Back To Back Burke to shine :)
