Oooh I like that one! Floating bridge, eh!
I wonder, might it benefit from upping the red saturation to emphasise the sunlight a bit more? (Of course it could be very red, this work monitor is pretty ropey!:o )

New to the group. Love the photographs already shown, great work. I love taking photographs and thankfully have a good camera to do all the hard work for me. Question I have is, how do I upload a photo? I tried to already but all I saw was the little red x.

Here is a link to some of my pics if you want a look, until I figure how to get them here. lol

Thanks for that. Will have to keep playing with this to figure out how to do it properly. Have checked back on the thread and directions seem great. Just have to get it right for myself.

Thanks again.

easy way to do it - copy the URL of where you're looking at the photo, eg

http://www.flickr.com/photos/11247318@N04/1074231831/

click on the url icon and enter that, you'll get something looking like this
[*URL=http://www.flickr.com/photos/11247318@N04/1074231831/]<something in here hilighted>

then, get the location of the image - ie. go to the picture, right click, and select 'copy image location'

come back, make sure the inbetween bit is hilighted, click the insert image button - paste the location of the image into the box. that should be it.

the code will look like -
[*URL=http://www.flickr.com/photos/11247318@N04/1074231831/][*IMG]http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1254/1074231831_598a815876.jpg[/IMG]

(minus the *)

Your instructions are very clear but when I get to the bit where you say to
go to the picture, right click, and select 'copy image location' I cannot do that. When I right click on the picture itself there is no option to copy image location and then nothing to paste into the box and when I try it with the url it does not work. What am I doing wrong. I have the pics saved in a flickr album but am very new to this and very confused. lol. Also very appreciative of any help. Thanks in advance.

Try right-clicking on the flickr image and click 'properties'. in the middle will be "Address (URL)". Select the url that is displayed, less the ?v=0 at the end.
eg in the case of your first post, its: "http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1025/1073812300_4dde1cb5af.jpg" Then use the instructions above.

alright, here try these

howtohj7.th.jpg

if thats there - then just click that, and the link is copied, ready to paste. the URL will be
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1254/1074231831_598a815876.jpg?v=0

see the bit i've put in bold/underline? you'll need to remove that, leaving it as just whats in italic.

if that option isnt there (which would be weird) - see the properties option? click on that. you'll get something that looks like this

howto2hc0.th.jpg

the top one there, the link to the image (starting with http://farm2.static.flickr.com) copy that, then again, you'll need to remove the ?v=0 from the end

A photo of Poulnabrone Dolmen in the Burren - taken through a hole in an upright stone. This stone was removed a few years back so this picture can never be retaken.
