No idea but Im still waiting and hoping the are up early tomorrow... is before 11 too much to ask do ye think?

I guess it'll just depend on your course and how lucky/unlucky ya are!? :(

I remember at the end of first year our results came out a bit early but even though there was only about 35 of us, some people didn't get there's until two days after others!!! Just they way they put them up! SIGH!!!

here's hoping for a nice jump in my GPA.... Doubtful though... :( :o

I would say before 11 might be a bit beyond them!

I was kinda hoping that they'd be put up today and that the 8th was really the date that they were supposed to be out all along and that they were hoping that everyone would just forget about the lateness because they were shocked at having them a day earlier then what was said.Turns out thats not whats happening............

Modular results are up + I passed everything. I was pretty much hoping to PC neurophysiology, + I got a D+, which might not sound great but it was an incredibly hard subject. :):):)

Obviously not.... Just got mine... Ok, not a great but I passed everything... If you get a B- in something, do you think it's worth appealing? (I got 38% outta 40% in a class exam but apparently only got a D- in the actual end of semester exam which I was SURE I had done really well in???) Just leave it or ask lecturer?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 202 ✭✭Tan Princess

I'd appeal it. I just emailed one of the lecturers about a crap results in one subject.

I got a provisional A- from one of my lecturers and it says on SIS I got a B+ which is right?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,880 ✭✭✭Raphael

Yay, results. 3 A-, 2B, 1 B-. Almost pissed myself laughing, 2 of the As are in subjects I stopped going to lectures in after a few weeks =D.

SIS. You hit the nail on the head with "provisional". All results are provisional until the exam board meets after the exams are over and people can go up or down from provisional results.

No. I would put my money on the lecture being right. It is very rare for results to go down from the provisional grade. I have been awarded an F in one module on SIS this morning. I found out last week the Dept had mislaid my paper and a new grade had been entered. This means that I am now showing up as INCOMPLETE although the head of the school has told me I have a 2.1.

When I contacted the exams office this morning they said that the School had never sent over a letter asking for a grade change. Without that they can do nothing. In the mean time the chance of me now getting the masters I want are dwindling as the University is was applying too were already very put out that I had no transcripts up until now. Looks like it could be at least another week before I do.

    Waiting for 1st law too.

Just give it a while. I wouldn't start worrying until it's into the afternoon and there's still nothing.

Well done, I managed to do better on that exam than on the Middle Ages one. Somehow!

It's SO unfair on people who have to get accommodation but aren't sure if they passed or not, and people who have to pay for repeats to not know til so late how much they have to save up.

If I'm in the union next year this'll be my big issue.

Does anyone either (a) have a contact number for the Tierney building or (b) know if the Tierney building will be open today. My results say I failed a subject, but I know that I passed it.
Also although the subject is down as a fail, at the bottom of the page it still says, Stage 2 Complete, surely it should say Incomplete.

I thought they didn't go down. If I got an A in the paper and a B on the coursework I thought that would usually be an A for the module? ****ers still haven't got all my results up though it says I only have 55 credits. I need my transcripts this week. FFS

Oh, well I'm calling from an internal phone so it's just 1555 for me, but I just checked 716 1555 and it worked for me too....
A woman's voice says 'Welcome to UCD Student Desk'.
It also says here that that is the number http://www.ucd.ie/registrar/studentdesk/

Only one way to find out.... I'd guess he'd be able to find out if he didn't know, though the answer from the admin end of things could be a rather abrupt "later today".
