Bertie had slow starting pause, but a good speech.

Kenny good as well, but not as good. (v. close though)

Enda just hit the same notes again.

Taoiseachship... A crime against the Irish language there...

Bertie, brilliant handling of first question.

Enda is not answering the question well.

You can already tell that Miriam is a better chair.

The Irish language is a crime against the Irish language...

Anyways, he's repeating himself too much for my liking. What he's saying is good, but he's said it so many times before.

Tourism Enda you don't have the experience.

Enda's already repeating himself too and the debate is only on 10 mins

Enda is not answering the question well.

He's rambling and not managing to evade the question well enough. The experience issue is a problem there and Bertie is emphasising his experience in every answer highlights it. Still a very long way to go though. :)

Enda may be more poised and articulate as a speaker...but he talks some sh1te!

Bertie focusing on the economy. Arguing a point that FG will be strong on, but the one fear of the nation.

Wow, Kenny aint answering well at all.

    Enda stumbles the ball!

I thought kenny started off much better, bertie was clearly very nervious.

No shocks in the opening speaches, kenny going on about his contract and bertie his experiance

Enda is going into De Valera mode, next he'll be telling us that he looked into his heart and saw what the Irish people wanted when making out his contract.

Take your yankie contract and stuff it.

Miriam putting it up to him on the money front, fair play to her.

Micheal Wall comes to haunt bertie again.

If Kenny has any smarts he should be able to point to the Mahon tribunal as a prime example of how FF have wasted money and how FG won't.

Bertie is handling the money questions well

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,506 ✭✭✭Jackz

Why did you spend so much time in the dail asking Bertie about his finances Enda if you believe that it is the business of the tribunal and you are only interested in the issues.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,800 ✭✭✭✭Gary ITR

kenny looks fierce nervous and he's stumbling quite a bit
